Joe says to Mercedes that now they are together he wants a new job because he thinks it may be weird for the relation ship if he lives there and works if they are only starting a relation ship so he want to find a new apartment and a new job .Joe finds a new job but to pay for the rent he must take double shifts .which means he wont have time for Mercedes .jade tells her to support him even though she dosent want to .when they finally go on a date Joe must leave in the middle of it and that upset Mercedes .he wont move in because he dosent wont to live under her roof so quickly so Mercedes says that he could pay rent .he came to like that idea so that's what they done,so Joe didn't have to take the double shifts anymore.before Mercedes and joe were together they used to fight all the time because joe was the nanny he lived there so they were together a lot of the time but didn't get along very well when one of them done something the other one corrected it they were like that for 2 years and now together happy
