"Caitlyn!!!" My mother shouts over the screams of my baby brother Alex. He's only 8 months old, and is the cutest baby known to man, but also the noisiest.

"What?!" I yell back, packing my phone and purse into my bag whilst sprinting down the stairs, praying that my mother could hear me. I swear time gets faster and faster every day, because I seem to get later and later for school everyday.

"Could you look after Alex tonight? Or do you have work?"

Ughh. Work. Work isn't that bad, I work as a waitress at a local cafe, the Mulberry, and everyone I work with are lovely, but you know, it's work, and who likes to work when they could be home watching teen wolf and the vampire diaries all day!?

"Sorry mom, I've got to work, but I'm back around 6 ish tonight so I could look after Alex then. Why?" It's not like mom to go out a lot, and no offence to my mother, but she doesn't have that many friends.

"Work meeting Cait, 6pm should be fine though! I'll be back around 8. Um, Caitlyn, have you spoken to your father recently?"

My father, Joe, why would she mention him.

"No mom, why would you even ask that, we both agreed to never make any sort of contact with him again, especially after what he did. Wait. You haven't spoken to him have you?" I'm starting to get angry and my mother can see this and places a hand on my back to calm me down.

"No of course not, I just wondered Cait Cait." My mother uses my nickname from when I was a child. She's so silly but so perfect, not only in what she says but also how she looks. I consider my mom to be quite a young mom, at only 35, her long blonde hair trails down her back to reach her hips, her deep blue eyes, still fresh and gleaming, her smile is so perfect, and this is after having two children as well. I'm so beyond jealous of her looks, if I can look like her when I'm older, I'd be beyond happy.

"Well I'll see you later mom," I kiss her on the top of her head, that's another thing I'm jealous of, her height.  Although most people would die to be my height at 5 foot 11, I'd rather be my mothers tiny height any day. I can't wear heels, I'm taller than a lot of boys at my school, although they are finally having their growth spurts, so hopefully there'd be someone tall enough for me soon!

"Bye bye Ali baby," I kiss my baby brother's head, "see you later my little munchkin." Alex giggles in reply as I grab a banana and rush out the front door towards my car.

As I climb into my car, I see a motorbike pull out of the drive on the other side of the road. Mr and Mrs Jackson must have their son home, the only other person who lived there was Caroline, Mr and Mrs Jackson's daughter, she's 26 and is old enough to ride a motorbike, but she's too scared to even start driving a car, so I doubt it's her bike.

I've also heard rumours around school of Reed, or Ryan or something, Jackson moving back into town after he got in trouble with the police, and his parents sent him away. So maybe it's him driving it, although I can't tell, because the driver is wearing a helmet and full leathers.

I'll ask mom later if the Jackson's son is back.

When I get to school, I'm greeted by Hollie and Arden, who are currently debating who's better: Damon or Stefan. I wouldn't expect my friends to be talking about anything else. The Vampire Diaries is the best series to be created ever, closely followed by Teen Wolf that is and very closely follow by Pretty Little Liars.

However, we always discuss this, and Hollie and I always beat Arden 2-1 that Damon is so much better than Stefan, I mean, who doesn't love a bad boy right?!

"Arden, Hollie and I are right, Damon is the better brother! Now where's Jess?" Hollie starts to giggle, rubbing it in Arden's face that Damon is better!
