Chapter 6

*Blade's POV*

Ronnie you fucking asshole. He ratted me out for the mall incident! I lost my job because of it. Now I can't pay for the car, even though I need that car. He's fucking rich he can pay.

I walked through the hallways to confront him when I heard laughing. This time I knew his guest however. I've known this guy as long as Ronnie's known him.

'B-LAY!' I called with my arms up.

'BLADE!' he called back once I had entered the living room.

'Long time no see douche,' I laughed as I bro-hugged him.

'You're the one who's been with your asshole of a boyfriend,' I rolled my eyes.

'Yeah that was a mistake,' I sighed. He nodded in understanding before returning to the couch, 'oh yeah Ronnie?'

'Hm? What?' he looked over his shoulder at me.

'Why the fuck did you blame me for the mall thing?! I pressured you into it?! Seriously?!' my anger was rising quickly.

'Oops?' he shrugged.

'Oops my ass. You're paying for my car,' I stated. To this he stood up.

'WHAT?! Why?!'

'I lost my job because of you!' we both sat down. I was not arguing about this and he knew it.

Max has been texting and calling me a lot. I mean a fucking lot. I don't understand why though. He just keeps saying that he likes talking to me. The bad thing though-he's getting cuter and hotter each conversation. I will not let Ronnie win this bet. I don't even have $100 anymore!

He keeps asking questions and trying to find out more about me. I'm telling him as little as possible though. I try not to visit my past or think about my future because honestly, it scares me. I don't need him telling me the same thing everyone else does-'it'll be ok' or 'everything's fine now, they can't hurt you'. It's all fake.

*Max's POV*

Blade is so secretive! Every time I ask her a question she replies with something cryptic. I'm getting no answers. I want to get to know this chic but she's making it impossible. She's cool and I want to ask her on a date. I what've already but she just got out of a relationship and I don't know if she would trust me. I guess I'll give it a shot anyway.

I jumped in my car making my way towards Ronnie's house. I knocked on the door and heard a faint argument between the two about who should answer the door.

'Shut the fuck up! I'll get it!' that sounded like B-Lay. The door opened revealing the one and only, 'it's just Max!' he called back inside before bro-hugging me and letting me in.

'Hey guys! I'm baaaaack,' I smirked, waving.

'Hey! That's my thing!' Ronnie laughed. Blade gave me a questioning look.

'What are you doing back so soon? We just saw you like, two days ago,' I scratched the back of my neck and glanced at Ronnie. I know he sees her as a bit of a sister and can be protective.

'Uhm...well actually I came to ask you something...' I was nervous and I can admit it. She and Ronnie both raised an eyebrow at me.

'Suuure...' she stood up and followed me into the kitchen, 'what's up?' she jumped onto the counter and started swinging her legs.

'I was wondering, uhh...if you would like to go on a-a date with m-me?' smooth Max. I mentally face-palmed. Way to make yourself look like a fool. I noticed she was frozen which only made me more nervous.

'You want to take me on a date? Umm...ye-yeah, sure,' she half smiled at me and I relaxed. She jumped down and I smiled at her.

'Alright well, I'll pick you up at 8 tomorrow?' I asked her.

'Yeah that's fine. Just don't make it too fancy or anything-I don't wear dresses and chances are I'll end up trashing the place,' I laughed and nodded. We walked back out the living room and Ronnie looked at us expecting an explanation. Blade waved him off and he let it go.

I hung around for a while before going home to plan the date.

~Sorry for not updating. I have a lot of shit going on and schools not helping at all. Anyway, I just wanted to talk about when Blade says 'Its all fake'. That's just for her story-its not all fake. Its true and that's why people say it. Don't be pessimistic, it doesn't get you anywhere trust me. Let me know what you think about the story in the comments please!
