Grace's Birthday Party

Grace just turned fourteen and for her birthday party, she invited four of her closest friends and essentially we acted like giddy little girls.

Every year Grace has a pool party followed by a sleepover, and most of the time we stay up till sometime between midnight and four and the morning, depending on a) how tired we get and b) when Grace's mom decides it's time for us to quit our yapping.

We all met at Grace's house before heading to the pool near her house.

I'm going to time skip to my favorite part because Marie and Grace have dibs on the rest.

We've finished swimming. We had dinner. We went to the local playground and took a run around the pool. We messed around trying to play board games (made harder, considering we neglected to read the directions). And now, for the reason we stayed up till four a.m.

Sometime around midnight, we decided it'd be a good idea to record a video of sorts (don't bother looking for it on YouTube).

Grace actually did the summary, but here is what I can tell you:
A crazed lunatic walks into the bar and decides to kill to two occupants. Detective Parker solves the mystery.

It took four hours to film because the dead people (*cough*Marie*cough*) kept laughing.

And by the way, we're 13-14 year olds, not two. (I'm thinking that most of the time I'm the most mature.)

I've known Grace since first grade, but this was one of her best birthday parties. Let's just say... We really know how to party. Anyways, like Gabriela said, we went to the pool and acted like two year olds. It was pretty fun, but my favorite part was after the pool.

We came home and had dinner outside. (Grace's dogs were attacking us) Then we rounded all our stuff up and walked to the park singing along to the ABBA songs that I have on my phone. At the park, we played groundez (I think that's how you spell it) and, of course, I almost got killed by falling off the equipment. The funniest part was walking back from the park. Apparently, teenage girls don't know how to use the sidewalk or walk in a single file line because all five of us were walking side by side, taking up the entire length of the road. We'd almost made it back to Grace's house when we heard a car behind us. I yelled CAR and everybody scrambled to get to the sidewalk. The car pulled in front of us and stopped, parking just up ahead. We were so embarrassed, but what made it worse is that the guy got out of his car with a box of pizza, and Grace was like "Hey! My brother delivers pizzas!" And then one of the other girls had to ask, very loud mind you, what pizza place he was from. The guy actually answered us, which is a little weird.

Awwwww!!!! I love how awesome their memory is because the truth of matter is that my birthday party was in July..... Hmmm, well I guess any one could say I can throw a party, but I just don't stop at throwing them I go all out. Each year yes I have a birthday bash pool party because I am special like that. The best part about it though is that we play the childish games of Marco Polo, Colors, who is the fastest, and drowning ourselves by who can hold their breath the longest... Of course with the occasional mistake of me throwing a toy at a little kids heads. (Whoops) 😁 Anyway my Birthday Party this year was the best!!!! We got burned in the sun, looked at by passing cars like we were crazy lunatics , talked to random pizza strangers, and last but not least made a movie... Well kind of.

We are the sweetest girls you will ever meet, but combine all of us together and you got a loud obnoxious group of "ladies." (I take all the credit) 😆 You guys are probably thinking we made a unicorns and rainbows movie, but no.... Just no. We made a crazy murderous movie, of sorts. The murderer murdered two people with... Wait for it... A WATER BOTTLE!!! 😱😵 So this murderer killed her bartender, and then a girl walking out of the bathroom who was caught singing (this was Marie) . Following that scene the the detective (ME!!!) checks out the place and finds the murderer. Plot twist? Of corse! I hired her!!!!! Concluding that I couldn't leave any witnesses, I killed her. Overall this movie was like ten minutes and took us four hours to make... It is hard to keep straight faces let me tell you. At one point Marie forgot her lines so she just spun in circles, and don't forget about Gabriela who filmed it all with shaky laughing fingers!!!

Okay so yes we are girls, and yes we talk about girly stuff, but did you ever think we made murder movies. I didn't think so! That is just us though the so not stereotypical kind of "ladies".
