Ok so I know the last chapter was short but I recently lost my grandmother and had to go to Mississippi. I'm hoping this chapter will make up for it.
As I stood next to the steam watching the sun reflect off of the water I noticed that Edward was not with me.
I turned around And saw him leaning against a tree a few feet away.
"Do you want to some where else?" He asked as I made my way back to him.
I smiled up at him. "Did you have a particular place in mind?"
"I was wondering if maybe you would like to go to my house?"
I noticed he had that same look, on his face as yesterday, like he was thinking about something un comfortable even painful.
"Sure..um yeah that sounds great."
We slowly made our way back toward Charlies house where Edward had left his car.
I couldn't help feeling like I was safe around him.
He walked over and opened my door for me. I slowly sat down Bede letting my eyes leave his as I sat down and closed the door.
"So uhhh.. My family might be a little.......weird about me bringing some one home." He spoke with out taking his eyes off the road.
"Oh...ummm if it's a problem you can just take me home." I couldn't help but feel uncomfortable with the situation.
"No it will be fine, I just thought I would tell you first before we get there." Edward had just turned onto a road that if you weren't paying attention while driving and you would miss it.
I watched the trees zip by as we drove down the road.
"Wow you live pretty far away from town." I was surprised that we had been driving for almost forty five minutes and still weren't there.
"It's just around this next curve."
As we came around the curve my jaw almost hit the ground it had to be the most beautiful house I had ever seen.
"THIS is you're house?" I looked up at the glass walls the looked like they surrounded the hole second floor.
"Yes and unfortunately everyones home." as he opened the door to get out of the car the front door to the house flew open and a small pixie looking girl came running down the steps.
"Edward who's this?" She called as she stopped at the front of the car.
I slowly got out of the car hoping it wasn't a problem that I was here.
"This is Bella, She's a friend. Bella this is my sister Al..."
"Alice it's so nice to meet you Bella I just know we're going to be best friends!" She ran up and hugged me.
"Uh it's nice to meet you to Alice." I hugged her back trying my best to hide the pain from the hug.
thinking to myself. "GREAT I must have bruises all over my back to"
"Come on you have to meet everyone else." She might as well have dragged me up the steps to the door as fast as she was walking.
"ALICE!" Edward have her a strange look before following us inside.
Alice lead me into what I guess was the living room.
Edward stood next to me. "Bella this is my brother Emmett and my sister Rosalie."
I reached for Emmett's hand to shake it. "It's nice to meet you Emmett."
"So are you my brothers new girlfriend?" He beamed at me.
OK THIS IS SUPER SHORT BUT I WANTED TO UPLOAD SOMETHING AND SINCE I'M AT A PARTY AND WON'T BE HOME TELL TOMORROW. HOPE YOU LIKE IT SO FAR.
