Chapter Two

Lance's P.O.V

I felt something inside me snap. It's clear that none of these "people" understand me in the slightest. How dare they judge what they don't know?! . . . If they only knew what I am possibly capable of. I can't take another day of that hell hole of a school. With tenced shoulders and clenched hands I aknowleged the fact that I had to do something . . . and soon.

Sweeping the dark hair back from my face, I knew a twisted smile lay beneath my misleading appearance. Preparing for a very eventful evening, I looked in the mirror. My bright green eyes reflected the concealed excitement. Noticing the time, I quickly zipped up my jacket and left my room.

"So, would you like to tell me where you're going."

The question was directed to me.

"A couple friends invited me to see a movie. "  I lied.

"Fine, I expect you back by two. "  She snapped, drawing her further attention to the case files, that consumed her life.

"Thanks . . . mom."  I slammed the door behind me.

Tonight has to be the night. Everything was just . . . so . . . so tense. I guess  this was how I coped. I needed it, so I pulled my self  together.

Driving down the dark asphalt I came to a stop. "There she is." I whispered with a smile, anticipation twinkling in my eyes. "What's your price?"  The trashy women rolled her eyes and stepped into my truck.

I made my journey to an abandoned motel on the edge of town. Following her into the room I stopped to check that we were alone, then closed the door behind me.

A couple blocks away I saw Lance stop at a dumpy motel. He was in room 215.  I walked casually to the front desk and found the key to their "suite".   Let's have some fun with this . . .

Sliding the key into the jagged slot, I turned it slowly as thoughts circled my brain.  I would murder the women first, then move on to my plans of finally killing Lance. My Lance. The taste of his succulent meat, would be electrifying.

My mouth watered as the cannibalistic beast inside roared,  pushing me through the door. . . But I was in for my own surprise. . .
