"I've done it!" I yelled. "I've done it!" I ran down the hall of Mathew's Advanced Scientific School for Advanced Youth toward my best friend's room.
"Open up you grumpy old cow!" I yell at my best friend, Jessi while pounding on her door.
Jessi opened the door half asleep. "Kat, it is two o'clock in the morning. This better be important otherwise-"
"I've done it," I whisper.
"You've seriously done it?" Jessi asks as she puts her long blonde hair in a ponytail.
"Yes, it works. Want me to prove it?"
"Obviously. Why else would I be in the hallway this early in the morning?" Jessi says.
I gave Jessi a golden bracelet to put in her wrist. "Is this it? It doesn't look very spectacular," Jessi said.
"Push the silver button," I whispered. Jessi pushed the button and a whole hologram came out of the bracelet.
"Welcome to the BOTT, where and when would you like to go?" A voice said from the bracelet.
"Cool, but what does BOTT stand for?" Jessi asked.
"Bracelet of Time Travel," I said. "I came up with the name ten minutes ago. I will change it when I think of a better-"
"What are you two doing out of your rooms at this hour?" Professor Michelson said behind me. I turned around and she was wearing a red MASSAY shirt with a pair of pink pajama bottoms and she had her brown hair in a ponytail. Professor Michelson is about 30 years old and is my favorite teacher. She is actually quite pretty also.
"Sorry Professor, I just can't find my phone and I thought it might be in Jessi's room," I said while grabbing the bracelet from Jessi.
"Fair enough, but to bed now," Professor Michelson said.
"Sorry Professor," both Jessi and I said while we both walked to our rooms.
When I got back into my room, I pulled out my phone and called Jessi. She picked up on the second ring.
"Crap" she said. "You make a huge scientific discovery and you are sent back to your room for showing your best friend."
"Yep, this is how this world operates I guess. I'll just need to show you tomorrow when I show the rest of the gang," I said back.
The gang is my group of friends at this school. There is Jack Frankmith, a short, stalky LARPer that is really into the medical field of science. He is also my assistant for my YouTube channel. Then there is Maria Anderson. She is a tall brunette with an interest in the biology field. She also runs one of the biggest Doctor Who fan account on Instagram with 887k followers. Next comes Vincent LaDones. He is a tall, blonde LARPer with a big interest in the engineering field. He is considered one of the "hot guys" at school according to the populars. Then there is Jessi. She is a slender brunette with interests in almost every field of science. She watches all of the nerdy movies and TV shows and runs a blog on "What to Watch in the Nerdy World of Today" as she puts it. Star Trek, Sherlock, Lord Of The Rings, Doctor Who. Name it and she blogs about it. And then there's me. Kathrine Jackson. I am a medium sized, long haired brunette with interests in the psychology field. I have a YouTube How-To-Cosplay account with 3 million subscribers. I teach people how to dress like characters from different movies and TV shows. Everyone from the gang has been featured in a lot of my videos, which helps them with their success.
"Ok," Jessi says and hangs up. I take off my glasses and my BOTT and crawl into bed and fall asleep.
