Chapter One

Lucinda's POV

"Lucy!"

My best friend, who was also a male might I add, hollered. His baritone voice echoing through the halls of The Lycantrophy Fellowship's underground base, making me slightly cringe.

When he finally approached me, I instantly grabbed him by the collar of his white, tight-fitted and slightly creased shirt and shoved him on a nearby wall.

"Dear Lucas, what did I tell you again to not call me as Lucy?" I said with a ferocious snarl as I shove him harder onto the wall making little cracks appear and making his forehead linger with sweat.

"Okay, point taken. Luce." He said emphasizing my supposed-to-be-nickname as he swallowed, making his adam apple bob.

"Good boy, Luke." I said with a devilish smirk as I finally released his collar and patted my hand on his head, making my fingers brush against his tousled curly locks.

He immediately fixed his shirt and ran his hand through his curly, silky smooth locks of chestnut hair. He wiped the sweat lingering on his forehead as he let out a huge sigh and gave me such a menacing look.

"Anything you want to say Luke?" I said mockingly as I narrowed my eyes at him. Challenging him to say something bad to someone which was higher ranking than him like me.

He finally let out a breath he gave up and rolled his chocolate brown eyes.

"I, uh, the council is having a meeting. They told me to come tell you." He mumbled.

Meetings mean there are important matters to discuss or missions to be assigned to different agents. Meetings are held at least twice in one month, depending on the situation were in. These missions are also usually assigned to me, who is a high-ranking agent of this organization. And I, of course, happily accept and always accomplish as long as it concerns werewolves.

Or as I like to call it, monsters.
