Aoi closed the boundary

"You know I'm a little shocked Akane, did you doubt me?"

Akane hadn't fallen in the pit, he was beside Aoi

"I've known you since we were kids, did something happen, you don't seem like a fake"
Akane said while looking at Aoi

Aoi put her hands around her heart while she spoke looking at Akane

with a look that one could swear they saw pure darkness in her eyes

"Number 6 had nothing to do with this...I have a wish"

Aoi spread out her arms like she was presenting all the weird looking apparitions that were behind her, she had a huge smile on her face like she was finally happy

"To be sent away, all the way to the other shore!"

Akane looked shocked, he was surprised Aoi ever thought anything like that

"I've always been different from everyone else, thats why I'll never go back there"

"Ao-chan..."

"Trash should go where trash belongs, I have to keep things clean"

All of a sudden these apparitions in the shape of insects started attacking Akane, but Akane was able to dodge

"Even though Ao-chan is like this she is still cute, how ever"

Akane kept on fighting the insects crushing each and every one

"I will not allow your wish too come true!"
He said while grabbing Aoi down from the insect she sat on and pinning her down

"Because I love you"

"Is that so..."

Aoi grabbed Akane's face and kissed him, he was shocked, but then and there he was suddenly stabbed by a giant insect

"After this... You shouldn't love me any more, you have [reader] after all"

The bug ripped it's thorn out of Akane, leaving him with a whole in his chest

"But I guess it won't be easy to make you stop liking me, after all you still liked me even back when you thought I was with nene"

Aoi patted his back as he picked blood

"You also still choose me after you found someone who would definitely love you back if only you stopped loving me, oh poor [reader]"

My heart clenches at that....it's not like I wasn't in the dark about reader liking me...
But it's not like I led her on to think I liked her too!

At least...I don't think I did

"So... Your saying I can hate you after this? Don't look so happy after all I'm still a little angry"

I said ignoring all she said about reader

"After all this you were planning on returning to no. 6 right?"

"...."

"Oh that's right... If you fall here you can't get out again...."

I held aoi shoulders while I smiled

" So then let's fall together"

I started dragging Aoi with me to the pits opening

"Aoi...I would rather die then let you go, even if you were with another..."

Akane finally got to the pit and pushed the both of them off while wrapping his arms around her

'I'm sorry aoi but my affection for you has gone down since everything happened, maybe I lost affection for you when you started dating yashiro, or maybe when me and reader became closer friends, but either way, even if the space she takes in my heart is not even half of the space you take, i still have someone else in my heart now'

I know the story description is kinda misleading, like you would think that reader and Akane will get together but idk if I they will (I'm still debating on like 3 different endings
