EVE'S P.O.V

"Michael came to you to seek how to become the Demon Wolf? But why?"

"He came to me seeking answers. Michael is a descendant of Angelo. Years after Angelo attacked Marcusio, Michael was just a boy when a group of werewolves attacked his pack. They made Michael watch as Leonardo's father Maurice tore Michael's parents to pieces. Maurice had figured out where Angelo was hiding his bloodline and acted on the vow made by the Demon wolf's blood that flowed within him all of Angelo's bloodline would be destroyed. But Maurice could not bring himself to kill a child. He figured the boy would be shamed and die off as rogue. Little did he know that Angelo left behind all the information he obtained about how to kill the Demon Wolf and take its power. Michael came to me seeking information about his pack and family's past. It wasn't until after he heard the truth that he began hell-bent on revenge. Being the demon wolf is his main objective but I assume killing or in this case taking the Demon Wolf's mates is for his own satisfaction. To know he has killed you and taken everything you are and everything you love. Just as it was done to him by Maurice."

"What can we do to stop him?" Leo asked.

"Although I have to stay neutral in all affairs I don't believe what Michael is doing is right but he is only acting out of revenge out of being hurt. If there is any chance that you can spare his life please consider it."

Her words spun around in my head like a record on repeat. I was hearing all of this but it was hard to accept. I didn't want to let my mother down but Michael had to be killed or he would kill Leonardo.

"So what is our plan I mean where do we go we need help. We need to know how we kill an Alpha" Anastasia cut in.

"There is an all-powerful witch to the West. She can help you her name is Zenadaya. She will give you what you need to either spare Michael or kill him once you get to make that decision the choice is yours. Now go my children for time is not on your side."

I bowed to my mother as did Leo and Anna. We bid farewell and left the sanctuary. As we neared the place we left the car we all noticed that the air was thick with the smell of blood. We rushed to the limo to see both the driver and one of Leos pack members dead.

"What is going on how could this have happened?!"

Leo shifted and ran up to his pack member that laid stiff and cold on the ground.

"I am so sorry I was not here to- both of you get behind me!" Leo snapped and we ran to his side. Suddenly werewolves appeared all around us surrounding us next to the car.

"Well come on then what are you waiting for?!" Leo yelled he pushed both me and Anna into the car. "Lock the doors now." I panicked as we rushed to lock all the doors watching helplessly as Leo was ready to fight them all.

"Well well well...Aren't you a sight for sore eyes? Or shall I say eye?" A man emerged from the dark forest he was tall and had a scar running across his face and a missing eye.

"Hector? What is all this about? How dare you show your face to me let alone kill my men?"

"Fuck you, Leo, your men were pathetic. You took my eye and banished me from the pack do you know what I had to do to survive? I was almost out there too long until Michael took me in. Gave me a purpose. And ironically that purpose-led me to kill you. I can't wait to rip your head off and hand it to Michael as your body still shakes from the shock."

The man began to shift and turned into a big dark brown wolf. Suddenly I hear cracking and see Leo shifted. He looks back at us before turning to the other wolves letting out a loud thundering growl that shook the ground. Then all the wolves attacked.
