You woke up the next day surprised to find yourself in bed. How you got there is a bit of a blur but you're sure nothing happened. You walk downstairs to see your mom and you give her a nice hug and apologize. She replies to you "Why are you apologizing we already went through this." You stop hugging her and give her a questioned face. Implying that she should go on. Well that sweet young man that dropped you off yesterday sat with the both us and we talked it out over coffee. You're stunned. Sweet? Young man? Who's she talking about? Ethan? He was high he can't have possibly done anything that would leave a good impression on your mom.
You're so confused and worried. How did he know where you lived? You don't remember ANYTHING. You try to run bullet points through your mind to recall whatever happened last night.
-I fought with my mom
-I went to the bridge
-I found Ethan
-I told him my name
That's it. That's all you can recall. But there's obviously a big portion of the night missing. Did you get high? You're not that kind of person. This is all so weird. You decided to go back, back to the bridge to maybe find some clues. As you got there there was no evidence of a blunt or a drug or anything at all. Just pure concrete. You sat where you did last night, and looked around. You found a light pole, and on it was a note encased in an envelope. Ooooh, how mysterious. You walked closer towards it to see if it had anything to do with whatever you were trying to discover.
(OK NOW I KNOW THIS SOUNDS CHEESY BUT JUST GO WITH ME ITS A NICE PLOT TWIST AT THE END) —
To your surprise, the envelope had the sloppiest handwriting but you could tell even with that mess on it it said "Angel."
Obviously being the curious, fierce woman you are, you opened it within a split second, expecting to find an explanation of what happened. But all you found was an address. Somewhere in Long Valley, you didn't pay too much attention to it you just got in the nearest cab and gave the driver the paper and told him to "step on it".
You got to your destination after about 5 minutes, really wasn't worth the drive and you probably could've walked but as the 10 year olds say, yolo. You arrived at this huge house. Something like a Disney castle, but it felt more quiet. I mean, you could tell there weren't any happy princesses around. The vibe was kinda weird. You didn't know if this was Ethan's house. I mean in a house this big and backyard you could see from so far away, how is it possible to be that unhappy? Guess money really isn't everything, well unless you use it to do good things but he was just smoking weed. It still surprised you how he was conscious enough to write down his address. Whatever, you thought to yourself.
You walked towards the front porch and knocked, but as you knocked a hundred thoughts rushed into your mind.
What if his parents open the door?
What would I tell them?
What if it's not his house?
What if it's his girlfriend's house?
Do I look weird?
Did I brush my teeth?
They're going to think I'm homeless.
All these thoughts, in a matter of seconds. Before you knew it the door was opening and you ran and hid behind a bush on the entrance of the porch.
(I know the ending is a cliff hanger which is why I'll update tomorrow bc I already have it typed out thank u and tell me what u think yo!)
