Naruseus

Before the event

   It was like any other day, but P.E. seemed extremely boring. We were jogging around the school but like always my mind was somewhere else.
"Hey hurry up bro, coach is coming" said Chris. Chris was my best friend since grade school. " I know, I know" I said. "I can't believe the year is almost over. Next year we'll become freshman"
Chris commented, he normally tried to start a conversation since I normally stayed quiet. Unlike me he was popular, he had black, straight hair, was about my height 5,8, white skin  and had a great sense of humor, girls would often describe him as dreamy. I never understood why he hanged with me.
      One more period to go, I thought. "Naruseus, wake up" whispered Lily. "What?" I responded, "Day dreaming again huh" Aaron said. "Maybe" I implied. Aaron was about 6 feet tall, had black curly hair and brown eyes and was a little darker than Chris, he was also the most athletic out of all of us, Lily was about 5, 6 and had white soft skin, blond hair and blue eyes, she used glasses and was a band geek. At that moment the teacher gave us his famous glare, the one that gets under your skin and makes you feel uncomfortable for the rest of the day. "Oh great we are cursed now" Aaron joked, I chuckled but not loud enough for the teacher to hear.
      It was finally time to go home, Chris, Lily and Aaron waited for me in front of the back gate of the school like always. Most of my friends lived in the same neighborhood so we all rode the same bus. "Where are the others" I asked. "They are already inside the bus, but we decided to wait for you" said Lily. "Anyway we'll miss the bus if we don't hurry up" Aaron commented.
     It's been about 10 minutes since the bus started. We were sitting in the middle. There were 11 of us so someone sat alone. It was normally me, Chris sometimes sat with me but he knew I preferred riding alone. Then someone screamed "Watch out", then I saw it standing in front of the us was a huge gaping hole, suddenly everything went black.
