Heartshade whimpered 'oops I forgot' she thought.Heartshade remembered the day stormfur's mate dissapeared.Stormfur had already gotten to the high rock."I take my place as leader STORMSTAR and the new deputy will be wind-" stormfur said windpelt standing up waiting to be called."Heartshade". Heartshade stood in amazement.She could barely breathe.She padded over to the high rock,she was far away from the high rock because Stormstar yelled at her.Heartshade bowed "T-thank you star clan for having this awesome oppritunity" Heartshade stammered."Also queens with kits that have moved on to apprentices may stop working in the nursery....and become a warrior you just have to have a test." Stormstar added 'this is like the best day for me' Heartshade thought.She loved working with the kits just not all that much.The clan cheered of the new rules."also tomorrow and today is a free day we just need 1 patrol to go hunting by sun down I expect you to be back".Everyone was shocked as he picked the 5 cats to go in the patrol.
Two Hours Later
"Heartshade" Stormstar said "yeah" she asked "your turn" he said.Heartshade has been waiting about 2 hours she had almost been about to fall asleep,but then Stormstar came along."o-ok" she said.Both Stormstar and Heartshade ran out to the woods which seemed like a race.Stormstar had kinda liked the idea of coming out here he had liked Heartshade since he and her had been apprentices,so had liked her for a pretty long time."So okay.I want you to hunt down at least a rabbit no mice...." Stormstar said "Ugh. fiiine but only because I want to be a warrior...." Heartshade complained. "mouse-dung" Stormstar muttered "Fox-heart" Heartshade said back "offensive" Stormstar said . "Well I'm off bye Stormstar "Heartshade said "meet back here at sunhigh. Heartshade nodded and went off her way.Heartshade had Been on the lookout for what seemed like forever."ugh I swear the things I'm looking for are crow-food."heartshade complained.Suddenley something ran through the bushes.Heartshade dropping in a hunting crouch steadily walking toward the creature that would soon be fresh-kill.The creature came out of the bushes,It was a rabbit!Heartshade was the most silent thing in the forest,you could hear a leaf drop."Heartshade pounced on the rabbit and clawed it in the face.After a few minutes Heartshade had been the quietest she could ever be and looking for fresh-kill.Suddenley 2 baby rabbits came out of the bush.Heartshade dropped into a hunting crouch,again and pounced on one."Why the other get away.Well it'll be crow-food sooner or later by one of the clans that attacked." Heartshade shrugged and padded toward the place her and Stormstar was at earlier it was barely sunhigh but she had walked a mile worth of food.
