*Matt's POV*
I walked around the party looking for Riley or even Drew, even though she said she wasn't coming. I don't understand it. Why can't i stop thinking about her? "Hey, Riley." I shouted over the music. "Hey, Matt." She replied. "Can we talk?" I asked. What's wrong with me? "Sure." She said back. "Tell me about your friend." I said and she gave me a weird look. "Who? Drew?" She asked and i nodded. "That's not a lot to tell. She the quiet, shy, good girl." She said, and shrugged like i wasn't trying to get information. "No i mean, like what does she like, what kind of music does she like, what kind of guys is she into?" I said. She looked taken aback. "Well, she likes reading and doing quiet things that involve little to no people, like i said she's shy, She likes a little bit of all music, and she looks for guys who are sweet, and caring, and know how to treat a girl." She said and i nodded, standing up and going to find a drink.
*Next Day*
*Drew's POV*
"Drew guess what?" Riley said excitedly. "What?" I said as i got my books out of my locker. "Matt was asking about you last night!" She squealed. "Why?" I said not making eye contact. "I don't why but he asked what you looked for in guys." She said and my eyes went wide. "What'd you tell him?" I asked closing my locker. "I told him you like sweet boys that could treat a girl right. What was supposed to say?" She said raising an eyebrow. I shook my head. "That, i guess. I just never thought someone like Matt would ask about me." I sighed closing my locker. She nodded, slightly agreeing with me.
The rest of the day went by pretty fast, and before i knew it, the last bell rang. I stood up and gathered my things into my arms and went to my locker, with Riley. "Hey, ladies." A deep voice said, causing me to look up, and my eyes met a Matt's hazel ones. (Let's just pretend his eyes are hazel) "Hey" I smiled. "So Cameron and i were gonna hit up Starbucks, you two wanna come?" He asked and Riley looked art me. "Uh, sure." I smiled again, and closed my locker. Matt smiled, too and we made our way outside.
I walked through my front door to be met by Mikey. "Hey, Mikey." I said, sitting my keys on the table. "Where were you?" he asked, worriedly. "Riley and i went to Starbucks with--some friends." I covered. Mikey doesn't like Cameron and Matt. "Oh, okay. Call next time? Dad's out on business again." He said and i nodded going up to my room. I grabbed my guitar that was beside the bed and began to play 'Young & Crazy' by Frankie Ballard, my homegrown country roots coming out. I smiled as i finished the song. "That was really good." A voice said, causing me jump and look to my window, seeing Matt. "What are you dong here?" I whisper-yelled. "I needed to see you. Drew, i can't stop thinking about you." Matt said stepping closer to me. "How did you find my house?" I asked, glancing from his eyes to the window, and back to Matt. "I may, or may not, have 'borrowed' your file." He smiled. "Matt, why would you even? You know, what never mind." I said, rolling my eyes. "Drew. I need to get to know you. I can't stop thinking about you, i never get like this. What are you doing to me?" He said quietly. I kind of felt bad for snapping on him. "Matt, i like you too, but i know the type of guy you are. You'll get what you want, and leave. I've seen you do it." I said, it hurt but i had to say it. he looked at me and then jumped out the window, disappearing into the street. I sighed and lied down in my bed, thinking about Matt.
