She nodded.
"A curious word."
"Is it?"
"It is."
"Enlighten me."
"It raises anticipation, brings questions, squashes hope. But it also gives hope, answers questions, kills anticipation. It's quite contrary. When one hears the word 'yet', more often than not, they deduce the previous statement to hold little value in the face of truth, however, there's always a tiny part that's screaming, 'But what if it's different this time?'"
