I got home in a few minutes and couldn't wait to get to relaxing. As I got out of my car and started my walk inside, a thought popped in my head. Tonight was the first football game..

The only reason the first football game was even relevant to me was because Ryan was on the football team. Hell, he wasn't just on it, he lead it. I didn't really feel like going outside my house again and having to, you know, speak to people, but I wanted to support my best friend.

I sluggishly walked upstairs to my room and immediately tore off the hideous kilt that I wore each and every day. After getting changed into something more comfortable, I literally fell into my bed and molded my body into the mass of pillows that lay there. After a few minutes of lying there, I dosed off.

~3 hours later~

*buzz buzz* *buzz buzz*

"What the hell is vibrating", I groggily spoke to myself.

Seconds later I realized it was my phone. I picked it up and saw that I received a text from Kathy asking where I was. For a few minutes I sat there confused at her question, but when I finally woke from my sleepish daze, I realized it was almost 7 o'clock! I immediately ran to my closet, picked out my favorite jeans, a blue top that matched our school colors, and my favorite shoe and ran out the door.

Five minutes later, I arrived at my school. I made it just in time for kick off. I found Kathy quick in the stadium and gave her a hug. The whole night we screamed for Ryan and Tucker and laughed at the cheerleaders (among them was Medea).

By the end of the fourth quarter, we were up by five and ended the game just like that. We cheered and screamed as loud as we could for our little football team. Once the team retired to the locker room, Kathy and I went to go wait for the boys to exit so we could congratulate them. Soon after we saw Ryan exit and I rushed to go give him a hug. I was always so proud that he was MY best friend. I looked over and saw Kathy and Tucker coming towards us, while sloppily kissing each other. I couldn't decide whether it was cute or repulsive..

Once the two love birds got to us, Ryan suggested we go celebrate at our favorite greasy diner. We all agreed and began walking towards the cars. Ryan stopped when he heard his name being called.

I saw another football player run over and said, "Hey man, you did awesome tonight, really great playing." Ryan, of course, thanked him and then after a moment of considering decided to offer the player to come out with us. It was only until he accepted that I realized who it was.
