Hi, I'm Mackenzie. I've been a dancer for many years, and I became a singer last year. My career was my only focus. Nothing else. Until at the last competition. "Point your toes! Straighten those legs! You're late!" Abby kept yelling at Nia while she was rehearsing her dance at competition. I got tired of the yelling so I left to get a soda pop. When I went to the vending machine, I realized I forgot to bring money. "Oh shoot!" I said. I started to walk away and then I heard a voice behind me. "I hope you like Sprite". I turned around to see a boy holding a can of soda tying to give it to me. "Excuse me?" I ask.
"I saw you wanted a soda but couldn't afford one so I bought you one." He smiles. He was mega cute. Tall, confident, handsome, cute hair, he was the full package. "Um, Thank you, what's your name?"
"Lucas. What's your name?"
"Mackenzie"
"Hey you're that girl from Dance Moms!"
"Yes, I am" I smile.
"You're a lot more beautiful in person."
I start to blush☺️
"Thank you"
We have a 5 minute conversation
"Well Lucas, I have to leave now"
"Okay"
I start to walk away
"Wait!" Yelled Lucas
I turn around and he gives me a piece of paper. He winks and walks away. I open the piece of paper and it reads,

The Next Day

It's Sunday, my day off, and I am happy because we won all the titles last night. I only had one thing on my mind, Calling Lucas. Now at 12pm, Mom is at the store, three of my siblings are with friends, Maddie is in her room by herself, time to call Lucas.♥️😀😀

I dial the number and the phone rings

Phone Conversation
"Hello?"
"Lucas?"
"Mackenzie!!! How are you doing?!?!"
"Great! How did you recognize me?"
"I know your voice."
"Oh. So, where do you live?"
"The same place you live, LA!"
"(Gasp) Really?!?!"
"Yes! Can we meet up at the Starbucks at Hawthorne Friday?"
"The one near my friend Kendall"s music video airport?"
"Yes"
"Sure"
"Okay, see you there, Ov ya"
"Bye"
End of Conversation
I heard a mumble at the end. Did he say I love you? Don't know.

It's Friday, the day I see Lucas.
I run down stairs to see my sister eating waffles and My mom sitting doing nothing.
"Hey hon, why you all dressed up?" My mom asked.
"Can you take me to the Starbucks in Hawthorne to meet a friend?"
"Sure, whose the friend?"
"Jennifer"
"Okay"
Mom's at the car and right after I grab an apple, my sister Maddie stops me.
"I never heard of Jennifer" said Maddie
"I met her online, her name is JenniferD10."
She stares at me and gives me an "I know you Lying" look.

"This is about a boy isn't it?" Maddie said
I freeze with a shocked face and start to speak.
"Yes, his name is Lucas. I met him at competition last week and we're meeting up."
Maddie smiles
"Okay, don't drink alcohol, and don't let him pressure you to do things you don't want to do."
"Okay Bye!"
I start to leave.
"Wait!!" Yelled Maddie
"Yeah?"
She smiles
"Is he cute?" She says
"He is H-O-T-T HOOOOOOOOT!!"
We both laughed. I go to the car ready to go to Starbucks. When we arrive, I see Lucas and mom goes to Wendy's right next door.
I take a deep breath
"Here we go"
I walk in.
