Dean really needed a drink.
He could feel the judgeful stares of the small cluster of people around him. They were all looking at him. He was the bad guy here. Crap. This was bad.
Dean ran his fingers through his hair and pursed his lips. What was he going to do? Right right, the papers, the man, the hospital. He had to get there. He had questions and he was sure the other guy has questions too.
What if he pressed charges? Shit, was all that was going through Dean's mind as he snapped his body over to his car. He could see a police car parked right behind him and watched as the police officer walked over to him.
Ughh he didnt have time for this.
"Is this your car?" The police officer asked. Dean tried not to roll his eyes.
"Yes, look im really sorry i bent down to get something out of my shoe and i wasnt watching the road for a split second and it just happend-"
"I need to see some license and registration please" the officer butted in.
Dean blanked for a second before jumping into action and reaching into his vehicle to get to the glove box where he kept all his "car papers" as he liked to call them.
After a couple minutes of the cop making sure that his license and registration were real he came back to Dean.
"Are you drunk or on any drugs?"
"What? No!" Dean said loudly. Oh shit what if they did the test thingy and it said that i wasnt sober? Thoughts flew through his head.
The officer stared at him for a couple seconds and Dean started to break a sweat.
"Alright, now well be going to the hospital to get a report as to what exactly happend from the perspective of the victim. Youll have to come with us."
Dean could only nod as he was led into the squad car. Not the best way to spend his day. He hoped that nobody passing by would scratch baby or smash her windows. It was an iffy street.
