The voices in my head
Louder as I grow
Mistakes taunting me
The flaws. Enhanced
The doubt increasing
Why me?
Smile through the pain
No one will know
Why me?
The voices of peers
Taunt
The voices in my head increase
Fuel to the fire
Louder and louder
Will they ever stop?
Why should they?
I deserve this
My cross to bear
My devil
Remains from years ago
A passing comment
Forever the echo remains
A joking taunt taints the mind
Another word. Another cut
Another laugh. Another toilet
Another whisper. Another tablet
Another rumor. Another try.
Vicious circles. Never ceasing
The fake smile
The fake laugh
The fake happiness
The voices carry on
Taunting
Tainting the memories
Doubt sets in
How was that comment meant
How did they say that?
Another voice added to the masses
Swarms of voices
Doubt
Voices
Doubt
Voices
Silence
The end
Doubt ceases.
Voices end.
