Love At First Bite

I woke to see her beautiful sleeping face, I kissed her snout and whispered in her ear:  "good morning Veronica, I love you sweetheart, but its time to wake up." She then proceeded to screech like a dying animal. I chuckled, got out of bed, walked into the kitchen, made a cup of coffee, and then headed back to the bedroom. I chuckled to myself as I saw her eating the stuffing of the pillow. "Ohhhhh Veronica,  you silly gal, let's go make you some breakfast." She screeched at me, bolted past me and into the kitchen where she proceeded to use her snout to open the fridge and started to tearing into a frozen turkey.  I know what your thinking, he married a velociraptor?!?! Yup, I sure did, and hey things aren't perfect but I love her anyways.  "Veronica, sweetie, when you're done can you clean up your mess?" She screeched in my face and continued to gnaw on the frozen turkey. Once again, things aren't perfect, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I walked out on to the porch and started scrolling down my Facebook to see if there were any new super funny posts, when I heard a loud *Clank crash cuh* I bolted up and ran into the kitchen too Veronica had tipped over the fridge and got food everywhere! "VERONICA WHAT DID YOU DO!?" I yelled. She looked at the floor as if apologizing for ruining our fridge. I sighed and said "it's okay sweetheart, I know it wasn't on purpose." I went over to her and hugged her. She wrapped her tiny little arms around me, and we hugged it out till we both calmed down. I smiled, looked up at her, and said "Sweetie, guess what this means!?!? We get to go fridge shopping!"  She screeched at me, wagged her tail,  bolted into the bathroom, and using her tiny little claws she grabbed a bow and ran back to me and screeched in my face. "Sweetie, what's the magic word?"  She screeched loudly, and I felt my ear drums pop. I chuckled to myself, that's close enough. I  tied the bow to her head and we set off to the truck to go fridge shopping.
