Chapter 1; It used to be

*Kath's POV*

well it was great, until....."i'm leaving Kath.... my dad got a girlfriend in Italy, and hes moving there. They're getting married in two weeks. i have to go and help." 

"how long have you known ?"

"uh....3 months"i can believe it, Taylor's actually leaving me. we've been together a year and hes just picking up and leaving, hes known for 3 months and never said anything ! hes giving me a desperate look, what is he expecting ? for me to fall into his arms and cry ? "i cant believe you ! why didn't you tell me when you found out ? did you think it would make it easier ? that i wouldn't hate you ? I've told you everything since we've been together, and this didn't seem good enough to share ? so now your just going to pack up and leave ?"

"IF I HAD A GOOD ENOUGH REASON TO STAY I WOULD !" OK, that killed me wait ago Taylor.

"OH ! so now I'm not good enough ? " great now I'm crying... "just go then ! i don't need you ! I've got Quinn, I've got friends, go i don't care, have a nice life Taylor !!"we both stayed quiet, unsure if either of us would say anything, then Taylor stepped closer to me. the light shining through the trees in his hair making it glisten. we were in our favorite place, the clearing in the forest, the place we first met....all of a sudden his arms were around me, i found myself burying my face in his chest, inhaling the smell of his cologne, of him....we stayed there for what felt like forever..." here i have something for you.." he whistled and a dog ran through the trees toward us....... " your giving me jasper ? why ? "

"he's always liked you better, and i want you to remember me....and our first date" i couldn't help but smile, i was never able to stay in a mood with him for long. "I'm sorry i didn't tell you, i didn't know how, i was hoping i could stay behind, but i didn't mean you weren't enough, i told dad i wanted to stay, because i have you, but he refused to let me. he said life is short. he said i need adventure. so i leave tomorrow night...." my phone started to buzz, usually meaning Quinn wanted me home now.....  " i have to go....i  hope you like your new home...." i hugged him, kissed him - holding back the tears -  on the cheek, picked up jasper and walked home.....
