  I woke up that morning with the sun peeking through the window."Hey Tara you up?"Ronnie said knocking on the door and opening it."I am now." I got out of bed and grabbed my bag out of my closet.Ronnie left and I got changed.I went in the hall and knocked on the bathroom door."Is anyone in there?" "I am."I heard Troy say with water turning on. I saw Caitlin come up and say,"If you need to use the mirror you can use mine.He'll be in there for awhile." I followed her to another bathroom.I looked up and saw my reflection.I never really worried about how I looked because I really never left the base.I looked at my dark brown hair.The highlights in it were every where.I grabbed my brush and started brushing it.Once I got done I went back to my room put on my hoodie.I then went to look in a full size mirror.Under my hoodie was a dark violet shirt.I wore blue jeans with holes in the knee from when I fell skating.My black converse scuffed,and my hood over my head."Tara,Come on lets go." I heard Ronnie yelled.Before I left my room I grabbed my black leather gloves with no fingers on them.I went downstairs and outside to the car where Ronnie waited for me."Wow." "What?"I asked looking at Ronnie."You look nice." "Thanks can we go." "Yeah."Ronnie started the car and we left.I was in the car for about 5 minutes when we pulled into a school.Ronnie pulled into a parking spot and looked at me."Tara none of these kids have powers so don't use yours ok." I looked at him as I got out of the car"Okay."I looked up at the sign that was on the outside wall of the school it read,"Keystone High School." I knew I was a sophomore in school so that was where I was at.Once I was enrolled Ronnie left and I went with the principal to a class."Mrs.Green may I speak with you out in the hall for a moment." The principal said peeking in the class.The teacher came out and saw me."Mrs. Green this is your new student Tara Raymond." "Okay thank you Principal Brown."She said,"Come with me Tara." She walked in the classroom and I followed but stayed by the door."Okay class meet your new student named Tara." Everyone looked at me it felt like I was back at home in Jump City at the base.I looked around the class.I was surprised to see in the very back looking at me was Mr.Wally West himself."Thank You I have someone here I've at least seen before."I said in my mind. "Tara,Why don't you tell us something about yourself?" I looked up and said,"I like Fire." then looked back down.I could see all of the student's and teacher's facial expression.Wally's was just like,"I knew she was going to say that."But the others were like,"What is wrong with this chick." "Okay um Tara let's get you a seat." She showed me a seat that was right beside Wally's."This is going to be fun."I whispered to myself."Oh I hate this class it's so boring."Wally said leaning over and whispering to me."How many preps are here?"I asked Wally when the teacher wasn't looking."All of the girls in this class plus there are more." "I'm going to die aren't I?" "No they will probably try to change your look though." "That is not happening."Me and Wally whispered to each other."Ms.Raymond are you talking."Mrs.Green said out loud in the class.I stood up and said,"Yes I am." "Do you mind telling us what you were talking about with Mr.West over there." "Absolutely,"Wally just looked at me actually the whole class looked at me,"We were talking about.....NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.Yeah I went there."then sat back down.
