WARNINGS: None. Just a bit of romance. PG.

Today was the day.

It was the day Dan was coming back.

After 3 months in Seattle, hes back.

Phil was extremely excited for this moment in life.

All he wanted was Dan.

He got his wish.

But for some reason, Dan said to come down to the train station with him.

Usually Dan would just come to the house and surprise him.

But I guess not this time.

As long as Phil gets to see his love of almost 5 years, he is okay.

Phil grabbed his small red backpack and slung it over his shoulder, walking out of his room. He felt like crying because he was so happy. It was actually so painful without his boyfriend around him, and helping him stay strong. As Phil looked around, he smiled. No more quiet for him. Usually people loved the quiet, but not Phil. The 26 year old then walked to the door, turning the ice cold doorknob and walking out. The freezing wind attacked Phil's pale face. He smiled at this feeling. This made a memory go back in his mind.

Dan held Phil's cold hand. "Ready to go?" The younger one asked. Phil just nodded. As they walked out, the freezing wind came crashing at them. At this slight touch by mother nature, Phil hugged Dan and buried his head in his chest, shivering horribly. Dan rubbed his back, trying to get him warmer due to the cold. "Bad idea, I forgot about the wind chills.. Do you want to go back inside?" Dan whispered in Phil's ear. People were staring, but the gay couple didn't mind. "Yes." Phil said weakly. Dan let the older, yet shorter boy go and kissed him on the nose. He held Phil's hand, walking back inside.

"Move out of the way!" A shout behind Phil was heard. "Sorry, Ma'am." He whispered, getting out of the lady's way. He then looked in front of him. Dan was going to arrive at the train station in about 20 minutes. Phil decided not to take the car, and just walk. He then started to walk, hearing the crunching leaves underneath his black and white converse. As Phil kept walking, he cut through a park. He looked at a small tree in the near distance, seeing 'D+P' permanently carved into it. He smiled again, as a second flashback came to him.

The two middle-aged boys were laughing, as Dan pulled Phil across the forest in the park. "Where are you taking me?" Phil said while laughing. "You'll see!" Dan said laughing the same way. It was their 2 year anniversary, and Dan took Phil to a beautiful park in central London. Finally, Dan stopped running and stopped right in front of a tree. "What's this tree for?" A now confused Phil asked. Dan pulled a knife out of his pocket. "This." Dan took the knife and slid it across the tree bark, making half of a heart. "You make the other half." The younger boy handed the older one the pocket knife. Hesitating a bit, Phil went over to the tree and made the other half. He smiled and giggled a bit. The two boys then took turns using the knife, until it was perfect. Dan put down the knife and turned to Phil. He crashed his lips onto Phil's. After a while, Dan pulled away. "Happy 2 year anniversary, Phil."
