Chapter 31

I'm back with another chapter :D, so without anymore delay let's get right into the story.


Gladion: Alright, what's the plan Ash? What do we do?

Ash: We should join up with Officer Jenny first. We can't just go in, there are still some people who didn't evacuate. We might hurt them as well.

Clemont: Yeah, Ash is right. We don't know what's happening in Lumiose City right now. I hope everyone is safe.

Serena: Fine guyss, let's go.

Lillie: Yeah, let's meet up with Jenny. She will know the exact status of the city.

Lana: Fine then, it's decided. Let's go to Officer Jenny.

Ash: Alright Ultra Guardians, come with us. I have a sweet ride.

Gladion: Don't tell me you bought a car. My mom won't even buy me one!!!!

Ash: *Chuckles* You'll see

*The Car is parked near them*

Gladion: (NO NO NO NONO) *screams* NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Lana: *Punches Gladion* Shut up Gladion. Stop overreacting

Ash: *Winks* Don't worry, it's James' car. We're just borrowing it.

Gladion: *Exhales in relief* Thank Arceus, I was scared you bought a car before me.

Miles: I'm sorry to interrupt but we better go guys.

Ash: *Laughs* Miles is right, let's go *starts driving*

*An hour later, they reach the camp set up by the Lumiose City Police 3 miles away from the city. They were holding up a meeting to discuss their plan to infiltrate the city. Luckily Ash, Serena and the others made it just in time*

Officer Jenny: I would like to thank everyone for making it here today. Let's start the meeting.
As you know, our city has been invaded and taken over by Ultra Beasts and thanks to Ash, Serena, Clemont and Sophocles catching James we now know all about these Ultra Beasts and their leader Zelder.

James: *Chained to the corner of the room* Hey, can I at least get some water?

Mallow: Who is this guy? Why is he tied up here and what happened to him? He looks like he got pounded by a mafia.

Serena: That's actually James.

Kiawe: *Shocked* WHAT?!!! but how did this guy- *seeing a picture of James*....become like this???!!

Sophocles: That is what he looks like after Ash was done with him.

Lillie: Ash you could have killed him!! Don't you think you went a little overboard?

Gladion: *Clenches his fists* No Lillie, he deserves it. He took advantage of Ash, Miles, Lieutenant Yvonne and everyone working at KSI. I would've done the same if he feel into my hands.

Lana: *Clenches her fists* I agree. I wouldn't have hesitated to make him suffer. [ just the sight of James disgusted Lana after all he was the reason her Grandmother died]

Officer Jenny: *Gives him water* We'll be putting James in jail once his mission is over.

James: I don't mind going to Jail, just please keep me away from that monster *looks at Ash*

Ash: *Glares at James*

James: *Scared, stays silent*

Officer Jenny: *Answers her phone* HOW CAN THAT BE?!!! WHAT?!!!

Ash: What happened Officer Jenny?

Officer Jenny: Very bad news guys....the President is being held hostage inside Lumiose City and Zelder announced that he'll kill the President if Ash doesn't surrender himself. You have been labeled as a wanted person and I just got orders to capture you.

Serena: *Holds Ash's hand* Ash won't be going anywhere Jenny.

Lillie: *Stands in front of Ash* You can't just take Ash away.

Gladion: Guyss wait!! What have you decided Officer Jenny?

Officer Jenny: I'm not an idiot. I'm not going to capture Ash, he is our only chance of having the city back. Right now he is more important to me than the President.

Kiawe: Yeah, that's true. Ash is our strongest trainer, Our trump card. So what is the plan Ash?

*2 hours later*

Gladion: Ready? *gets on top of his Noivern*

Lillie: Yep *gets on top of Altaria*

Lana: HERE WE GO!!! *all three of them enter the city from the sky and flew till they reach a tall bulding*

Gladion: NOW *all three of them jump on the building and return their Pokemon to their pokeballs*

*FLASHBACK*

Ash: We have to invade the city. Not all of us, just a few so that we can find out what's happening in there. Gladion, Lillie and Lana, You three should go in.

*PRESENT*

Lillie: *In her radio* Ash we got in.

Ash: *In his radio* Great job guys but just stay away from the KSI building. Zelder is bound to be there after all, that building was it's home for over 50 years.

Lana: *Radio* We'll contact you again once we scout the area.

Ash: *Ending the radio contact* All we can do now is wait. Make sure the Police forces and trainers are ready Officer Jenny.

Officer Jenny: I'm already on it Ash.

*With them*

Lillie: *From the roof of a tall building* I can see the President. He is locked up in a room in the city hall.

*FLASHBACK*

Ash: Once you infiltrate the city, I want you to find out where the civilians who couldn't escape and the President is being kept and also find out if Zelder has any demands.

*PRESENT*

Gladion: The civilians are inside the city hall as well.

Lana: Guyss look on top of the KSI building, it's Zelder!!

Zelder: *Standing on top of the KSI building* ASH KETCHUM I KNOW YOU CAN HEAR ME, I HAVE MADE MYSELF CLEAR FROM THE START. ALL I WANT IS YOUR POWER, GIVE YOURSELF TO ME AND I WILL LEAVE THIS CITY AND YOUR FRIENDS ALONE. IF YOU CHOOSE TO RESIST OR DON'T SUBMIT YOURSELF BY EVENING TODAY, I WILL KILL THE PRESIDENT AND OTHERS WHO ARE CAPTURED HERE. I HOPE YOU CHOOSE WISELY.

Lana: Oh no, we can't let Zelder get a hold of Ash but at the same time if Ash doesn't surrender himself then the President and the others trapped will die.

Gladion: We have to tell Ash about this.

*Lillie immediately used the radio to contact Ash and told him everything that Zelder was planning to do*

Ash: WHAT!! (Zelder isn't kidding, it'll kill all those innocent people to get to me)

Random Trainer 1: *whispers* It's too dangerous to go in, can't we just capture that guy and surrender him?

Random Trainer 2: Yeah I agree, I know he is the hero who saved Alola and all. His Greninja is amazing too but if he really is that noble, why can't he surrender himself and save all those people?

Officer 1: Those trainers are right. We got orders to capture the kid and hand him over to Zelder from the President's office but we are protecting him instead. What we are doing is against the law, we might even get into trouble for this .

Officer 2: I completely agree. He has saved so many lives but we can't side with him now. We have direct orders from the higher ups.

*The Police force and trainers grew unstable, they were talking about capturing Ash as ordered by their higher ups and handing him over to Zelder instead of helping him*

Officer Jenny: *Notices the loud voice of the officers and trainers* What are you all talking about? We are in a serious situation right now

Officer 1: *Throws his pokeball* Go Venusaur *takes out his gun*

Officer Jenny: *Takes out her gun* What are you doing Officer?

Officer 2: I'm sorry Officer Jenny, we can't follow your orders anymore. You have gone against the law by choosing to protect Ash Ketchum.

*The Police Forces, Trainers surrounds Ash, Serena, Clemont, Sophocles, the Ultra Guardians and Officer Jenny. They had their guns and pokemon*

Random Trainer 2: That's right Ash Ketchum, If you really are a hero then surrender yourself for the President and the innocent civilians.

Officer Jenny: *Angry* How can you do this?!! He is the only reason all of us are alive. If Ash didn't show up we would've died the very night Zelder was revived.

Kiawe: *Very mad* Have you guys lost it? Ash is the only reason we can survive this! You really think Zelder will let everyone go when we surrender Ash?

All the Officers and Trainers surrounding them: *Silent*

Clemont: Look guys we can't be fighting against ourselves. Right now we should work together to survive this thing.

Officer 1: *Scared* But if we go into the battle then many of us will die. If Ash just surrender himself then there will be no bloodshed.

Miles: Are you crazy!! Zelder has been powered up with Ash and Greninja 's energy. The only person strong enough for the job is Ash.

Officer 2: I knew it!! So Ash is the reason Zelder has been revived! That is enough reason for me to arrest you Ash

James: *From the corner* Such Idiots

Officer 2: What did you say you criminal?!!

James: Listen to me carefully woman. Nobody knows Zelder more than me, Miles is right if you want to survive then Ash is your only chance.

Officer 2: I don't have to listen to a chained criminal like you.

James: Fine then *chuckles* if you want to die so badly then go ahead.

Officer 2: *Clenches her fists* I'm going to kill you!!! *points her gun at James* You're dea-..

Serena: *Slaps Officer 2*

Officer 2: How dare you?!

Serena: Don't you have any brain?!! *looks at all the officers and trainers* ALL OF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU ALL ARE DOING!!! You all are ready to trust the words of a murdering Ultra Beast but you won't trust the words of the person who saved all of your lives while risking his life God knows how many times to save people whom he doesn't even know!!

All of you are selfish people!! Listen to me. Zelder isn't going to leave the President and the innocent people even if Ash surrenders himself. Zelder only plays dirty. It'll not hesitate to kill us all but it still hasn't and the only thing that is in it's way is Ash. Think of it this way....*glares at everyone* You giving up on Ash is you giving up on your life. If you still want to take Ash away.... *stands in front of Ash* You have to go through me.

Ash: *Looks at Serena and smiles* (People who think I'm the one who is always protecting you are wrong. You're very strong Serena and I rely on you as much as you rely on me. I love you so much) { () -> means in mind}

Miles: Serena is right *stands in front of Ash too*

Clemont: *Stands in front of Ash* Yeah you have to go through us

Kiawe: *Stands in front of Ash* Like I said, Ash is our trump card.

Mallow and Sophocles: *Stands in front of Ash*

Officer Jenny: *Smiles looking at the kids* (They are just kids but they are so mature, they will all be a big part of tomorrow's world) *stands in front of Ash*

All the Officers and Trainers surrounding them: *Drops their guns and tell their Pokemon to stand down*

James: *Chuckles* Finally they got back to their senses

Officer 2: I'm very sorry for what I did. I lost control over myself, I was....scared

Ash: *Holds Serena's hand*

Serena: It's ok Ash, It's over for now.

Ash: *Smiles* Thanks Serena, I can always count on you.

Serena: I won't let anything happen to you *holds his hand tighter*

Officer Jenny: Well now that we're back in control, what's the plan Ash?

Ash: My plan is very plain and simple Jenny.

Officer Jenny: What is it?

Ash: *Smiles* I'm going to surrender myself.

Everyone: WHAT?!!!!!!
