Charming the Count was as easy as counting to three. As long as I baked sweets and knew table manners and what time tea time was, he followed me and adored me like a sister.

I smiled to myself. Hotaru just visited and told me three things about my past.

1) what my childhood was like

2) what my favorite things to do were

3) why Raging took me (apparently I was to get answers from him and then kill him, but he knew I was coming, sent me to the hospital, and then the rest is history)

But, that somehow wasn't enough. I wasn't satisfied with the things she was telling. I felt like... these things from my past won't help me... or... maybe she's lying.

Walking down the hall, I noticed Ai was staring at the wall I was staring at awhile back.

"Ai!" I called with a smile.

He turned to me with a blank expression. "I still don't see what's so interesting about this wall." he said.

I laughed. "Right..."

"The others like you, you know." he said, getting closer.

"They do?" I asked.

He nodded.

"Well, do you like me?"

Ai shrugged. "I don't know what 'like' feels like." he said. "But, I feel strongly attracted to you... I just don't know what to make of those feelings."

I nodded. "I see... well... is there anything I can do to make you like me?"

Ai considered. "Hmm... I'm not sure..."

"I see... well, I have to go get ready for the concert. Ja ne, Ai!"

He nodded, walking the other way.

I squealed a little as we made our way backstage.

Ranmaru looked at me weirdly, Reiji joined in, Camus quirked a brow, and Ai stared.

I laughed nervously. "Sorry... but performing on a stage owned by Shining has always been a dream of mine."

"That's a strange dream for someone who works at Raging." Reiji said, putting an arm around me.

I shrugged. "Well, if you worked at Raging, you would have the same dream."

"Azami-san! You're on in 5!" someone called.

"Hai!" I said, shoving Reiji off of me.

He feigned hurt, and I just smiled. "Ja!"

"Gambate!" They called.

*Kira's POV*

I stared at Azami as she performed. She was a great actress. She knew how people worked and she knew how to get them to follow her every beck and call.

"She's the same as she was back then, huh?" someone whispered in the seat next to mine.

I turned to see Hotaru grinning.

"I guess." I answered. "But, I don't think she should be doing these things. She's going to end up hurt."

Hotaru shrugged. "If she knows what's best for her, she should kills those four idols quickly. Raging isn't patient. Plus, she's saving her butt. I'm saving mine. You've already saved yours, so what's the point of worrying over her?"

I shrugged.

"Or... are you worrying over her because--"

"No!" I snapped. "I don't have feelings for her anymore!"

"You were always such a great liar." she whispered. "That's why she followed you back then. You lied your way into her heart, and then, when she really trusted you, when you really loved her, you lead her to that final mission and--"

I put my hand over her mouth. "Shut up." I said dangerously. "It's a thing of a past. What she doesn't know won't hurt her."

"And if she gets over that amnesia?"

"Then we're both screwed." I answered. "I'm not the only who had a hand in doing something on that mission."

Hotaru shrugged. "I'm going to be long gone when she does. How about you?"

I shrugged. "Who knows?"

*Azami's POV*

"Good job!" Reiji cried, high fiving me.

"Arigato." I said with a smile. "I feel great. I'm not nervous for once."

Ai came up behind me and whispered, "Is it because no one is here to hurt you."

I nodded with a sigh of relief. Ai hugged me from behind.

"Wh-what are you doing?" I cried, my face red.

"My data says that this is the opposite of what Raging did to you." he answered.

I smiled. "I'm grateful then, Ai."

He nodded.

End of ch. 10. Lol. I'm so fresh out of ideas. Comment and vote! Arigato! ^-^
