Hello, this is my first story on this website hope you like it! :D
Chapter One: Unnoticed
I walked down the hallway and she was the first thing I saw. My heart skipped a beat as I was just a few paces away from her. Allie has been my crush ever since I laid eyes on her which was over 2 years ago and she hasn’t noticed at all. She has never noticed I treated her differently from all the other girls, never noticed I haven’t dated anyone else because of her and I was stuck in the friend zone, although I wanted to be more than friends. I wish she could see that I love her and I wish she could love me back the way I love her, but we all know that won’t happen.
She has a boyfriend, Scotty, and boy does he treat her like a piece of shit. He makes her cry over the most stupid things, he makes her fear him is what it’s like. I wouldn’t be surprised if she was scared to break-up with him. Hell, the way he treats her I would be too!
I walked up to her, leaning on the lockers. When she shut her locker she noticed me leaning there. She was surprised actually, even though I do this almost everyday. I mean, we’re best friends why wouldn’t she expect me to be there?
“Oh! Hey Dylan!” She said her face lighting up. She hugged me, I wanted to stand there and hug her all day, but I would never have such luck. When she let go it felt like the hug only lasted a second. I sighed and forced a smile.
“Hey Allie.” I said smiling at her name, it was such a beautiful name, don’t you agree? I could say it all day.
Allie, Allie, Allie-
“So what have you been up to?” She said, interrupted my train of thought.
“Oh, nothing just been hanging around I guess, you?” I said and shrugged.
It was mostly true, I mean there was only 2 days left in school and I couldn’t wait. I would get to see Allie a bit more, I had our summer all planned out, although she has no clue of it. I was hoping to ‘hook up’ with her over the summer, if I can get the guts to ask her out that is.
“Same thing as you. I’ve been hanging around Scotty trying to please him as best as I can.” She said and rolled her eyes annoyed.
“Do you seriously love him?” I asked curiously, my smile kind of fading. I hated talking about Scotty, just his name disgusted me.
“Why of course! He may be a hassle but I do love him.” She said smiling.
I sighed quietly to where she couldn’t hear. I hated that she loved him, why couldn’t she find someone to at least treat her right? Like me? I would actually take care of her, love her… Not make her cry, make her feel worthless, and that shit he does to her. It made me hate him more every time he did stuff like that. But yet it made me feel a bit happy, because she would come to me when she was upset. Not her other friends, not her boyfriend, me.
I nodded to her and walked with her down the hallway to our last class of the day. We only had our last class together which really sucked. I took a seat beside her and smiled at her, of course she smiled back. My face turned dark as Scotty walked in taking a seat beside her. Did I mention he was in this class too?
