Autumn Leaf

You push me around,
whilst whispering sweet lies.
You form fake ties,
and leave me on the ground.

Autumn leaves are falling down.
The wind comes to take them away,
Possibly to be seen another day.
Yet most are crushed in the middle of town.

In my life, you became a thief.
Stealing the things that make me smile.
Crushing me into a small pile.
I'm nothing but an autumn leaf.
