MY name is Evan Certy. I don't really know what to say, because theres nothing exciting about me. I'm 5' 11". My hair and eyes are both brown. I wear glasses and refuse to wear contacts because I hate them so much(but that's a story for another time)... So I wear rectangle glasses all the time because my vision is literally the worst. At age 3 I couldn't tell the difference between my mom's SUV at the time and someone's truck. In my defense, they were the same color and looked the same. Oh and I couldn't see the words on the flashcards for learning words, but no big deal.
Next thing, um well, oh yea. I wear jeans and converse with t-shirts from Hot Topic and every online store. I'm not the biggest guy, so it's hard to find size 28 by 36 jeans. My waist is so small I can't find jeans to wear! I may be a little bit underweight for my age group, but I'm not worried. I'm 17 years old and a Senior in High school. Yeah Yeah, I've heard all the mocks of not getting my license before any one else, and how I'll still not be an adult when I graduate, blah blah blah. My birthday is July 24th, so I JUST turned 17. School starts in two weeks and who else is excited for school starting? OH right, no one.
You're all wondering when I'm getting to the people in my life, cuz well, it's the title of the chapter. CALM DOWN! I want to get to know about my peeps before we go rushing off, haha............ Yea this is what happens when you don't have many friends. My best friend is Jack, and he can be a douchebag. We met when I first moved to where I'm currently at and my mom told me I needed to introduce myself to the neighbors. I went to his house and we just hung out and introduced me to Xbox RPG's like Assassin's Creed and stuff like that. One move later and we kinda became distant but he's kinda my only friend so... Anyway that was four years ago, and now I'm kinda stuck with him and his other douche friends. I kinda moved away from Xbox and moved to PC games when I saw the preview for Portal. I love puzzle games. Next things next I found a game called League of Legends.
And who can have a childhood without your parents or some sort of guardian? I love my parents don't get me wrong, but sometimes I wish I could leave them. You see, they have this thing about me becoming a money maker. Some sort of doctor or lawyer to give them money when they're older. They don't really care if I'm happy with my job. I've enrolled in biology for they're sake, and for extra good measure they put me in a law class at the local community college. I do it because I keep lying to myself that I'll become a big daddy bucks with a trophy wife, but I keep lying to myself, I just need to stop.
"Anyone special you have an eye on?" You might ask, well honestly I haven't known you long enough to tell you that :P. I've never been able to trust people ever since one time. This is where we flashback to my mind *whoosh whoosh whoosh*. It all happened before the move. 7th grade is brutal. lame comebacks and everyone is in that awkward stage where everyone is paranoid and we think kissing people makes you pregnant. Anyway, one of my girl friends Jessica and I were just hanging out, looking at silly bandz, because let's be honest, those things were the shit of the time. I had starting to get really bad cramps. It was so bad that I had to go to the hospital and get my appendix taken out. Jessica had visited me because she was worried about what happened to me. I told her, and the paranoia kicked in, " Oh my Gosh Evan, what? I heard from Sarah and her older brother told her that what just happens means that you're going to die soon! I don't want to be sad about that, so I'm just going to leave you now so you can die in peace." at this point I didn't know how to react so I most likely had this dumbfound look on my face as to what's happening. When I got back to school, everyone was scared They were going to die because of me haunting them. The whole day went by with no one talking to me, and being a stupid 7th grader, took till the end of the day to figure out that Jessica had told everyone about "how I died". That's why I like League of Legends, no one cares who you are, all they care about is how good you play. I like to keep things to me, myself, and I.
