That what I just I just talked about was really the prologue I guess if I were writing a book. I think I should start where I think we should.
"Hey dude come on in! we were just about to start. I'm so excited. You are going down like the scrub lord you are!" screamed my "best friend". His other "Best friends" were there too. Zack was pretty short for being a junior in high school. He had beach blond spiky hair and a body that literally screamed "gymnast". I guess that's why he's so short, hm never really thought of that till now... Anyway he was about 5' 3" and he never really had time to do stuff with us because he's always at the gym. He's an Olympic hopeful and he might have a shot? I really don't understand gymnastics and point scores.
Next was Michelle. She was a real girl gamer, and by that, I mean full on rage gamer. When she wasn't screaming like a banshee, she was really funny and chill. Ginger wouldn't really describe her, she had fire-red hair like her rage during games and pale green eyes that looked soothing.. If only you looked into her eyes, nothing else. She's pretty tall for a girl, being 5' 9" and not doing any sports she's skinny like a twig.
Finally Matt. He was the smartest of the group with a GPA of 4.6. School was his thing and played video games when he wasn't working on homework. He had jet black hair and gray eyes that almost seemed too bright, a sparkle in his eyes in dull gray color. He was about Michelle's height but a little bit shorter. Matt was really quiet, but could be loud if you angered him enough. He reminds me of a quote from Doctor Who: "Demons run when a good man goes to war Night will fall and drown the sun When a good man goes to war..." He's real good friend but don't get on his bad side.
Finally, Jack. He was short like his temper, a little on the heavy side, and had brown bowl cut hair. That's really all I want to say about him. Although, if it weren't for him, I wouldn't have met the rest of his group, which were better than him, but still were kinda "iffy" on my radar.
Anyway, at his house we were starting a COD tournament. It was towards the end of summer of Michelle and my Senior year. It was Zack's, Matt, and Jack's junior year. For the tourney, it was me against Matt, Michelle against Zack, and Jack had declared him too good for us and he was the Final for the title of winner. Michelle and Zack went first. They're round was pretty boring, Michelle was good with a sniper rifle so she kept sniping Zack in the head while he just sat there looking dumbfound until time was over and it was 20 kills to Michelle and 4 kills for Zack. It was my turn now. I wasn't afraid, I had studied Matt and his strategy for a while. He had gotten first kill on me by surprising me with his ak-47. I just needed to know where he was in a general vicinity and now that I have, he took to crouch position but I had snuck up behind him and killed him. That's when he started to get reckless and very observable to me and died several times. I had won.
After that Michelle and I competed and I lost to her but I wasn't too heartbroken unlike someone who was still whining after they had lost to me. During the finals, Michelle had made a simple mistake of not checking a corner before running and got killed by Jack. And he called her out on it for the most amount of time until that was all she could think about and her game fell. Jack had won and we had agreed on bragging rights for the winner, and he abused it.
Michelle and I were talking before we all left and she had told me about steam. It was a client for PCs for all sorts of different games. I told her I would check it out. It had a game she liked to play: CS:GO(Counter Strike:Global Offense). It was an fps like capture the hostages and terrorists and bombs. She told me it had a really good community unlike our friends. I knew then I was hooked.WOWOWOW I'm really bad at writing but don't worry the league stuffs will come soon.
