~~~Okay... so here it is as promised! I know it's a day late. This is my first time ever really doing this so please no hate!! Well better get on with the story! Love you, my lovelies!!~~~
   It hurts at first but only at first.
It wasn't the physical pain that hurt the most... it was the emotional pain.
Everytime a human dies, you think the torture of taking their soul would kill you... but it doesn't.
A week to 2 weeks later, it becomes just another scar.
Being a human is hard. I know that because I used to be one.
I dragged my fragile body out of bed every morning. I slowly pulled on the clothes I was going to wear that day.
I was alive.
I was just like you... but that was 4 years ago.
Four years ago, I died.
You may be wondering how I died.
Well, let me show you...
       The year was 2009.
I was 14 and in the 9th grade.
Looking back, I realize how precious my life was.
I had a mother and father who loved me dearly.
I had 2 little brothers who looked onto me for guidance.
I had a best friend.
I remember the day I died just like it was yesterday because when you die your last memories are stronger than your first.
I remember my best friend, Nicole, screaming bloody murder.
I remember her screaming out, "Oh my God! Someone help!"
A teacher ran out. Actually, a couple teachers ran out.
Everything other than my center vision was blurry and out of focus.
Nicole was standing right above me, crying.
Why was she crying?
That was the only thing I could think.
Then, Mrs. Hudson was leaning over me.
She, too, was crying.
All I knew was I was laying down and my body was numb.
"No! No!" Mrs. Hudson screamed before being dragged away by Mr. Killen and Coach Morris.
My geometry teacher, Mr. Gilbreath, had Nicole in his arms, trying to comfort her.
I stood up.... or at least I think I stood up.
I looked down at my body.
How was I looking down  AT my body?
It wasn't possible.
All of the sudden a bright light shone above me-- well, my body.
It was a heavenly light.
A beautiful light.
As I looked up into the light, I saw a figure floating down.
It was a graceful kind of floating.
The figure was a man.
A very beautiful man.
"Who are you?" I asked as soon as he landed on the ground.
"I'm Peter. I'll be your guide," he said with a soft, demanding voice.
"My guide to where?" I questioned once more.
He pulled out a stack of papers.
"Amarantha Rose Lance, born on October 30th, 1998, 14 years of age, born and raised in Electra, Texas, died April 2009, gun shot wound- fatal," Peter trailed off.
~~~ AHHH CLIFFHANGER!! Don't worry that's not all! Comment what you think so far. Vote if you want.
