I wanted to finish the song that I always play for you. Even for the last time.

          -Rei

A normal morning for a son of a conglomerate group. He was with his butler accompanying him in his piano lessons. A place in the city where only a part of the townsfolk can afford.

Well. It was a given. Their family had it all. Money. And. Wealth.

It was the fact that he thought that knowing how to play the piano is boring. It has been a day since he started learning but he has learned playing Ave Maria since watching his mentor play it.

Or play Moonlight Sonata after hearing the tune itself. For him it was simple, but for the sake of learning he continues to go.

"Young Master," the Butler slightly bowed his head. "Your lesson will end at 5 pm."

Darn. He wanted to go home early and rest. He has to play the piano for an hour. He always thought that 10 minutes is more than enough.

But then. What can he do?

Instead of whining like a child, he nodded and smiled at his butler. "Thanks. I can go home by myself."

"No." His butler shook his head softly. "I should accompany you."

He's always annoyed by the fact that there should be at least two or three people accompanying him going home.

He's not even a child anymore.

"Okay. "

He grumbled and went inside the gate. For the second time around, he was fascinated. It was an ancient mansion, probably made in 18th Century. After 150 years,  it was remodelled.

A nice sight. There was a lawn before he reaches the door of the mansion. It was huge but he knew that he should enter now. Or else, he'll get scolded.

As soon as he entered, emptiness was revealed. A huge space in the living room where the grand piano was located. A chair. And beside the location, there was a window.

He sat down and set the piano. He pressed the first key of the piano and smiled. He looked at the window, only to see the birds chirping at the lawn.

"Young Master Rei, you should start playing." He recognized the voice. It was his mentor. He turned to look at him,  only to see his mentor staring at him coldly. "Ave Maria."

He started playing the piece smoothly. Tbe rhythm and the melody was in harmony despite playing it for the second time. He arrived at the second part when his attention was gathered by a sudden arrival of a girl, probably around his age.

She was wearing a long black coat. Her hands holding her backpack firmly. He can't see her clearly until the girl arrived inside the mansion. She sat in the corner of the room.

"Focus!" His mentor snapped. "Your timing is off."

He looked at his fingers playing so he was able to catch up. Then, his attention drifted.

She looked at the girl. Long, wavy hair. Her face was small. She has that meek eyes that gazes gently, mostly to everything.  Pointy nose and small lips.

She was pretty and cute.

No.

She was beautiful.

He felt his heart fluttering.

"Okay that's enough!" His senses came back when his mentor spoke. "Well done. You can go now."

He hasn't noticed that it has been an hour.

"Thank you teacher." He bowed down and gathered his things.

He walked, slowly taking his time. She was beautiful up close, sitting down carefully like a princess. She didn't blink nor their eyes didn't even meet.

"Cryztal."

The girl stood up when his mentor called her name. He figured out that the girl came for piano lessons too.

But then it was.

Such a nice name. A name that perfectly fits her.

Cryztal.

Her walking straightly. Not being able to meet her gaze. Then. He realized one thing.

Accidentally, she tripped at her own feet. He almost walked past by her when he was able to control his reflex and supported her weight by grabbing her waist. Almost hugging her unintentionally.

He can feel her breath. She smells like vanilla cologne. Even up to this close, her eyes showed his reflection.

But he knows that his reflection was not able to reach her.

After that moment, he realized he was wanting to press his lips with hers.

Flutter.

Teenage hormones.

Rei blames his hormones for thinking such an outrageous thing. It wasn't really an outrageous thing since he enjoyed just by thinking about it in his part---

No. Scratch that.

Well. He can't deny it. It was actually love at first sight. After that, they exchanged thank you's and left. It wasn't really that awkward because as he had speculated, the girl can not see him.

But then. His heart did flutter. So. He has made up his mind. To take responsibility for what he did. He loved thinking about her. He'd love thinking about her again.

I fell.

I fell in love with her.
