Chapter 1

I woke up just as my alarm clock went off. Why do I have to get up at 5:00 am I thaught to myself.
I got out of bed and went to the bathroom. Looking at myself in the mirror I saw that my hair was a mess. Bed head I said to myself as I picked up my toothbrush and squirted toothpaste on it.
I walked down stairs to see Eamon and Kevin already up and having breakfast. " Morning Conor " Kevin sais to me mouth full of cereal. "Morning kev" I say back mimicking his voice.
I get a boal from the kitchen cabinet and head back to the table. Although the kitchen was small, well the hole house was small we were happy in it
The rent wasn't bad only 150 a month.
"Eamon pass the coco pops would you" I say trying to reach the box from the other side of the table. "Shure" he said.

After breakfast I got my bag and headed out the door for work
The minute I walked outside I knew something was wrong
Ok it was a Saturday but the streets were never this empty normally cars would be passing and people outside for walk but today not a car nor sole in sight.

I threw the thaught away and started the 10 minute walk to small café I worked in.
Eamon worked from home as a computer desinger and Kevin was a paramedic in the local hospital.
I reached the café at 6:45 am 15 minuits early for my 7 am shift. I unlock the door and walked in
I put my jacket,bag and keys in the back room and go to the kitchen and start preparing some sausages bacon and eggs. I boil the kettle, turned the door sign to open and looked for some work to do around the café
I got a couple of tables ready as normally a few people come in early for breakfast.
I sat down at the till and started reading away
After losing track of time I look at the clock to see 12 am confused that nowone had come in yet looking for some food I turn on the tv.
I flick threw the channels when the door opens. Leaving it on the news I walk behind the till ready to great the customer.
"Morning sir how are you today"
"Gust give me a coffee and leave me alone"
"Ok sorry" I say.
I go over to the coffee machine and pour his coffee. The door opes again and I see Eamon and Kevin walking in
"O hay gies why are ye here I thaught ye had work"? I said happy to see them.
"O well I hade a few hours to spare so I taught id come here for a coffee " Eamon said.

'Well same really lunch break"
We all sit down eating lunch
"Whats in the tv " Kevin asked flicking threw the channels.
"The news us the only good show thats here" I said as I took the Remote and turned the news back on.
Breaking news A virus caled Valoca has started to spread across Ireland. People have sent In neumarus accounts of people even lovrd ones attacking and even killing anyone they come into contact with. Footage of a man about 20 was shown on the tv. He was biting and attacking a woman on the side of the street. " Whats going on " I asked the others.
" I don't know " Eamon said biting the last Pease of his sandwich.
Ways to detect if you or your loved ones have the virus are as follows 1. They will look pale and qweezy 2. They will be constantly thirsty 3.if you see any of thoes simthems get away from them fast their about to turn 4. They will grown and scream and then they are fully transformed into a now called Zombie.
" More coffee" said the man looking even more pale and his eyes and sunken so far back into his head you could heardly see them.
"Gies can I talk to you in the back room" I said as I walked. And gestured to the room.
"Shure" Eamon said nudging Kevin as he got up.
We went into the room and I locked the door.
