What Our Husbands Dont Know

Chapter 9

Tonya starred at the couple so hard that she hit another lady basket going in the store....

"Hey lady watch where you going!" Screamed the the old lady coming out the store.

Tonya immediately broke out of her daze....

"Oh ma'am I'm so sorry...I promise you I am!"

"That's okay...that's okay!"

Tonya gazed back over at the couple, as Robert still looked at her confused because he caught the whole act. The estranged woman whispered to Robert...

"You must know her? What the hell is her problem?"

Robert swallowed hard as he gestured to his side woman to keep walking.

"Nall I don't know her...you know you have some crazy people on this side of town."

Tonya went the opposite way from Robert. Hands shaking while holding the basket, ashamed and shocked at the same time. She would always tell Stacy about how bad of a husband Robert was. Hell, she just would tell her that to get closer but in reality, she really didn't know what Robert did behind Stacy's back.

"That bastard is really cheating on my baby!"
Tonya self thinking, going down the aisle forgetting about the food.

She then pulled her phone out and quickly called Stacy to tell her. After the first three rings, Stacy answered aggressively...

"What Tonya WHAT?"

"Don't yell at me hell....guess who I'm looking at....."

But before she could tell her, she seen Robert walking down the aisle heading towards her. Tonya quickly dropped her phone in her purse causing the battery to pop out. She attempted to walk pass Robert but Robert approached her....

"Hey do you know me? What was earlier all about?"

There Tonya was, for the first time starring in the face of the man whose married to the woman she loved.

She cleared her throat and played it off smooth....

"No I don't know you... I just thought you were somebody else....somebody I use to deal with a long time ago, that's all."

Robert blew off a sigh of relief and replied...

"Shiiid I was about to say the way you looked and starred at me, hitting that old lady, you would of thought you were my wife."

Robert started laughing jokingly. If only he would of known. Tonya played it off smooth also by laughing.

"Well it was nice to meet you...a very strange way of meeting you!" Sticking out his hand smiling.

Tonya shook his hand but shook her head....
"Yea you right!"

The two then walked passed each other both getting towards the end of each aisle... Tonya looked back and Robert was already looking at her.

Tonya quickly got her groceries and headed home, forgetting a lot of stuff she supposed to have gotten for the house. A lot on the brain, she continued to call Stacy but no answer. She turned on her street and her mouth dropped. From a distance she could see Josh on the driver side of Stacy's car bending over talking to her.
