'Oh God' That was my first reaction to our current circumstances. We all stayed silent and watched the door with aprehention as it slowly opened. I heard Feferi shriek in terror and Eridan's nervous rambling. The door opened all the way and a tall shadow was evident in the doorframe. The lights flickered on and I nearly had a heart attack. Ms. Serket, Vriska's sister was there. "Goddammit Aranea!" Vriska's relief evident in her voice.
"Language Vriska". Were her first words to us, "Hello everyone, what are you doing here at this time at night." "Definitely not tellin' cliché ghost stories" Commented Eridan voice dripping with sarcasm and terror, which earned him a painful dig in the ribs from Terezi, his audible whimper very telling. "Well what was the story?" She responded. "It's not important Aranea" came Vriska's reply.
"Hey Feferi, you can stop squeezing the life out of me." The blonde blushed a deep scarlet and relinquished her death grip on Vriska.
"I think it's time to go home for all of us, but I also happened to meet quite the adorable person in the hallway, would you care to come out?" Something blue and furry poked it's head out of the door frame."
"Nepeta!" I exclaimed, "What are you doing here?" Nepeta was my little sister, only one grade lower, but you could hardly tell we were even related, she was blonde and pale with green eyes, while I was darker with black hair and surprising red eyes. "Karkat!" She shrieked and jumped at me, which ended up with me tacklepounced to the floor due to the sheer force of motion. Our audience burst into laughter at the act, the previous tension melting like snow.
"Nepeta!" I heard Terezi's laugh and I realized that Nepeta was no longer pinning me down, instead she was wrapped in the tight embrace of the sharp-tongued ginger girl. That's when Aradia began speaking, "Well everyone, tonight has been great fun, but before we go, I want to try something first," She looked over at Feferi sadly then continued, " So I found this charm and-" "Charm, right is this more of your hocus-pocus occult shenanigans" Eridan interrupted rudely.
Sollux gave him what I would assume was a death glare behind his red and blue glasses. Aradia continued unhindered, "It's actually a charm to boost the moral of our faithful companion." She paused and gestured to Feferi. I saw Nepeta asking Terezi something, She responded with a nod and fell silent. "This Charm is called the "Calliope Ever After Charm" it's purpose is to make sure we always stay friends even if we're apart."
Here she pulled out what looked to be a paper doll, we all gathered around it, even Nepeta and Ms. Serket. "Here everyone grab hold of a piece of the doll, hold it tightly, dig your nails in if you have to, just don't let go." Once everyone had done it, myself included, she looked around as if counting us. "Alright there are nine of us, so everyone needs to say "Calliope we beg of you" nine times silently, got it?" Everyone muttered forms of understanding. "All right go for it." I followed directions, 'Calliope we beg of you, Calliope we beg of you, Calliope we beg of you

"Alright everyone said it nine times?" Aradia asked. Everyone muttered affirmatives. "Then pull." We all pulled and got a piece of the doll. "Alright now don't lose your piece, make sure you keep it safe, put it in your student ID case."
Then the tremors started.
Ms. Serket took control, everyone, under the desks at once!" Noone reached a desk in time, then the floor disappeared I grabbed around me and found a hand, I gripped it tightly as I fell into the abyss.
