Under the Water

"Run!," yells a cloaked figure to another cloaked figure running towards New York Harbor. " He's almost here!!!" 

" Are you sure this is a good idea?" asks the other figure breathlessly, " I mean Persephone would be more than glad to-" "No. This is her best chance, he is her best chance," says the first cloaked figure as they reach the harbor. As they wade slowly into the water, lightning strikes near them and a baby starts to cry. "Shhh, shhhh, your fine," says the first cloaked figure as she calms the baby and takes off her hood," Mommy is here. You'll be safe in minute, my little princess" and continues to calm the baby down. Another figure pops out of the water. 

"Hera," the figure gestures to the lady holding a baby, "He'll be here in a moment, do you want take her or not? I've found a spot where she'll be safe, for the time being." They all stand awkwardly staring at each other for a moment. Then other cloaked figure screams, " HE'S HERE!" and then promptly disappears. Hera shoves the baby into the figure's arms. " Hurry. Take her under the water. It will cause him to loose her scent. Poseidon, take this journal that she may know who she is and IF ANYTHING HAPPENS TO HER-". Another bolt of lightning strikes and a very angry man emerges from it. Hera turns around to see him approach and then turns back to look at Poseidon, only to find a ripple of water. 

Hera starts to silently cry and barely whispers," good luck, my little princess" as the man reaches her. The man grabs Hera and screams,"WHERE IS THE BABY!?" Hera cooly says, "What baby could you possibly mean, my dear? With that tone of voice Zeus, you'll get nowhere." Zeus glares at Hera as more lightning appears in the sky. "I will find her, my pet, even with you getting my brother to do your dirty work." Hera worriedly smirks as she is led away.
