I went home as fast as I could. I totally forgot to check the time and now im gonna be late.

I walked as fast as I could. But the pain was disagreeing with me.

I got to the porch, where Rickey was standing with a smirk on his face.

"Your late" Paige suddenly says from behind him.

"That means you must be punished.....Extra." Rickey says.

Paige drags me inside and chains me in my 'room'. She kicks me in the stomach and props me on the wall

She pulls my shirt up. Rickey come in and I hear his heavy footsteps on the ground.

Then it happened.

One whip on my back.

The pain was striking but blended in with the other pain.

But there were more to come.

I slowley fell asleep.

I was in my bed. I saw my moms face. She gave me a kiss goodnight and left the room.

I was happy. The happiest little 7 year old imaginable.

Then it happens.

"Astrid sweety get out of the house now. Theres a fire" my dad said

I got up and grabbed my teddy bear. I went outside and saw the most horrifying thing.

This was not happy. At all.

The house my parents loves and cherished was being burnt down.

but i didn't see my parents.

I went close to the house and tried to fit through a hole. I needed to find my mommy and daddy.

The smoke burnt my lungs. It hurt so much.

Someone them scooped me up and carried me outside.
