When a boy named Kizuna awakens an ancient power within himself, his life will change forever. He will have to face the forces of evil and darkness alongside other heroes and heroines from multiple fandoms.
"I don't know, but I feel like we're not out of the woods yet," Kizuna said.
Kizuna saw small puffs of black smoke. As soon as the smoke faded, several small, knight-shaped Heartless appeared. The heartless wore a helmet that was loose and would show off their unsettling glowing yellow eyes. They had the emblem of the Heartless on their chests.
"Soldiers?" Kizuna asked.
"Prepare yourself... this is going to be a big fight," Sora said.
The group took up defensive positions as they were surrounded by these soldiers of darkness. Shadows began to emerge from the ground. Madoka draws an arrow on her magic bow. Izuku, Yoh, Ruby, and Kizuna took up a stance, brandishing their weapons. The beings of darkness began to descend upon them in droves. Madoka lets an arrow fly, striking a shadow in the head. The shadow broke apart, and a pink heart flew off. Ruby changed Crescent Rose into its scythe configuration and swung her scythe, pulling the trigger so the swing had more force with the recoil coming from the barrel. Swathes of heartless were cleaved in one swing. Yoh slashes at a soldier before slashing at a shadow. He grabs Amidamaru and fuses the ghost to his sword, creating his Oversoul shield. He blocks an attack from a swarm of shadows before countering them with a sweeping slash.
"Detroit Smash!" Izuku throws a punch to send the attacking horde flying. He kicks another heartless into a wall. He dodges a claw swipe from a soldier and grabs it. He throws it at a shadow. "There are so many of them!"
Kizuna casts a thunder spell to strike the horde of darkness, trying to reduce their numbers, but more just keep materializing. "They just won't end!"
As they continue to hold off the horde, a dark portal opens...
... followed by the bellow of a beast.
The heartless stopped, then turned to the portal. They backed away and simply watched them from a distance. The sound of metal clanging and footsteps could be heard coming from the portal. Kizuna got in front of everyone and held his keyblade tightly as the sounds drew closer. Coming out of the portal was a man draped in a shroud of shadow. With one wave of his arm, the shroud was pushed back, revealing black and dark blue armor with golden trims, with a helmet with long horns standing straight up, and a cape that was flowing with the wind to his back. The shoulder pauldrons had horns. The man stopped and stood tall. Then, a purple-black dragon appeared around the man, growling as it wrapped itself around the man, snarling like a guard dog.

Kizuna and his group felt a weight upon them from seeing the man. This man had a dark presence. The air around the man was intimidating, yet mysterious. Kizuna noticed that his hands were shaking, and so too were his friends. The sky turns dark as the sound of thunder cracks in the air.
"Children of light," The man spoke. "You stand in the presence of Golbez. Clad in Darkness, I am master of the dark arts, a wielder of power beyond your comprehension. Know that my arrival signals the end of your false hopes and dreams. Now... kneel."
