I walk into the room
That once held all my belongings
From the age of five
To the age of twentyI sat on the window sill
Staring at the blank walls
Wondering where the time has goneA tear rolls down my cheek
As the memories
Overwhelm me
Of what will no longer be
The place I call homeI sit in the car
As I take my last look
I crash
And the memories consume me
Drown me for a momentI compose myself
Looking forward
Into the sun beyondA new place I shall go
A new place I shall learn
A new place I shall call homeI now walk into my room
That holds my belongings
From the age of twenty
To some unknown age
Years down the road
