Charlie's POV:
Joe gripped my hand tightly and we started running with the wind blowing in our faces. I looked over to Joe and he smiled at me. This moment was... amazing. If you didn't know I have such a soft spot for Joe, I'm developing a crush on this boy. He made me go crazy.
Joe's POV:
Charlie was amazing me, the way she kept up with me, the fact that she agreed to do this with me.
*** (Time Skip)
We arrived at the little petrol (Gas) station and I told her to pick out a shit ton of candy and get some popcorn so we could bring it back to Jim's house and watch a movie.
Charlie's POV: (Sorry for all the POV changes)
I was picking out a drink when a man approached me. He was a tall white man probably mid 40's. He was wearing a pine green coat with some black jeans and trainers. He had a black beanie on that had the UK flag on it. He walked up to me and brutally tried to kiss me and give me a hickey. I tried yelling for Joe but I got no words out because the man was almost choking me.
Joe's POV: (sorry xx)
I was looking around for Charlie to see where she was and what she had picked out so far but then I saw her. A man had his hands around her neck and he was trying to kiss her. I ran up to her and punched the guy in the face and pushed him to the ground. I dropped all of the food and grabbed Charlie's hand. I gripped her hand tightly and we ran out of the gas station. We stopped by a little park. It was dark out so nobody was there. She looked at me as if she was about to cry. I pulled her in for the biggest hug. "Thank you Joe." She whispered to me. I leg go of her so she could look me in the eyes. "I'm sorry Charlie, it's all my fault, if we hadn't of come here this wouldn't have happened I'm so sorry." "Joe, please don't say that. Just, thank you." She wrapped her arms around my neck. I was startled at first, but then I hugged her back. "You're welcome." I whispered.
