She came to him wrapped up in a red blanket which protected her from the outside world. A world that he knew to be uncontrollable without fear, but with the world knowing fear, he could control it.
What he couldn't control was the fear set in the bright blue eyes of the girl ,wrapped up in a red blanket protecting her from the world, set outside his door of what he called home.
He stared down at her, the other one in his head telling him to kill the brat, but the poor doctor did nothing but stare almost in awe, at the child who stared back.
Surely Dr. Crane would be able to recognise his own creation?! But clearly he didn't, the other one still screaming at him to kill, what he called, a it obviously disgusted by the creature in front of them. But when the child began to laugh at them, the man in his head softened up a bit at how the fear went away quickly from the child's bright blue eyes.
As the weather began to turn the doctor slowly picked up the child and brought her inside giving the final protection the child needed from the big bad world. The man in his head seemed to hide away from the child's view as he watched the doctor take care of the child for the night.
Crane examined the small thing he created curled up in his arms smiling up at him. The child had seen him before, otherwise she would be screaming her head off, but he hadn't seen her. What was he meant to do with this thing just dropped on his doorstep?! Except that's she's here and move on? Nope. The doctor wasn't like that, he never placed a foot out of line in making sure everything was correct, but maybe for once he didn't think straight.
His mind began to play flash back of the recent year he had, judging by how small the child was, she was maybe a few weeks old? Maybe a month? Within the first ten minutes of thinking his mind landed on the one night he couldn't control the man in his head.
His eyes widen as the one night stand Crow had commited, turned into the little bundle of joy he was practically being forced to look after. He looked down at the child and began to pick out bits of himself from the child.
Cackling, the man in the doctors head came out of his hiding place only to go on and on about how the fear would live on, how she would take over from them once their time expired and with that in mind Crane paled at the thought. A child already having her life written onto stone just by the mad mans word, and it was all Crane couldn't stop the man in his mimoveFrom hating the small child to almost loving her, the mad man slowly took over a terrified Cranes mind to look closely at his new little protégé.
The protégé in questioned had tilted her little head to the side noticing the sudden change in the way the man holding her looked. A grin had crawled onto his face, his eyes going from terrified to pleased quite quickly.
"She was going to be good at noticing the changes in people" the mad man stated aloud to crane in his mind, the new sound sparking curiosity in the girl as she looked at him mouth where the sound came from. At that he grinned even more loving how she was acting round him. He couldn't sense the fear she had towards him, but curiosity was what he saw in her eyes.
She slowly wriggled out of the red blanket wrapped around her. Her hands shot out first hitting his, the slight action startling him. He certainly wasn't used to children, no matter how small. She continued to wriggle out of the blanket hitting him once every so often until she was finally free of her safe haven all the while he just stared going off into his own little world of her future.
She smiled up at him putting her hands towards his face as she hit his chin and neck a couple of times snapping his attention back to her, this action causing him to crack a small smile at his little girl of fear as he slowly stood on his feet and began walking to another room.
"You, my dear, are going to show the world true fear that can't be stop" he stated in a matter-of-fact tone to her causing her curiosity to spark again as she watched his mouth move. He continued on and on about how her future was going to be as he made a small place for her to sleep, she hhaving no idea what he was saying but watched his mouth move up and down.
She was still smiling up at him with her bright blue eyes, the type that looked past all the fear he used that clouded his vision, the type that people would miss when she closed her eyes to sleep, the type made Johnathan Crane terrified of what her future would be like when Scarecrow would be the one to take a normal life away from her easily just by clicking is fingers. For once in Johnathan Crane's life he would have to protect someone from himself, something pretty hard to do with a Crow in your head.
