It's Cold and I Don't Want to be Here

Lets go inside

Vic trudged hesitantly out of the warm, heated car and into the frigid Minnesota air. His brother, Mike, came out behind him, half asleep and dragging both of their heavy suitcases after him. Vic immediately felt like an asshole and grabbed both of the bags, nudging the groggy Mike ahead of him.
         Vic shivered. Fuck, Minnesota was cold. He had been told this already, of course, mostly by his mother, who had nagged him to bring warmer clothes, but naturally he hadn't listened. And now he was going to get hypothermia and die before he even got to the fucking office, which had to be another mile away. Shit.
       They walked on, crunching the frosty grass beneath their feet, until they finally reached the office, an old brick building, which Vic and Mike practically ran to, desperate to get out of the cold.
      Vic and Mike were greeted coldly by a heavyset, angry looking woman painting her nails a revolting shade of green at the front desk. Vic cleared his throat after a few minutes of silence, and her completely ignoring them.
"Miss?" Vic asked.
She slowly looked up, looking greatly annoyed at their presence. " I suppose you two are new?" She inquired in a bored tone, blowing on her nails as she did so.
" Y-yes" Vic stuttered. "We need our dorm assignments?"
      She handed them each a different slip of paper, along with what she told them were their class schedules, and glared at them until they backed out of the office and back into the subzero temperatures.
     Vic walked the shivering Mike to his dorm, hugged him before he went inside, and went off to find his own dorm room. It was, he was pleased to find, only a minutes walk away from Mike's, so he didn't have to brace the cold much longer.
      Vic stepped into his new room to find a black-haired boy half dressed and dancing around the room and head banging to A Day To Remember at full blast.

(A/N) HEY GUYS ITS ME THE AUTHOR OF THIS FIC. I HAVENT WRITTEN A FANFIC SINCE I WAS LIKE 13 AND IM ALMOST 17 NOW. THE LAST FANFIC I WROTE DID REALLY GOOD BUT IDK ABOUT THIS ONE YET.
