The next day, there was cool luckily it was a Friday. Samantha asked Kathy she wanted to walk with her. She said she couldn't because she always gets drove by by her mom. And with that kathy was gone. When Samantha got to school she was very happy because she finally had a friend. Lots of kids were looking at her and smile. She thought she finally be fitting in. So when the teacher said group work she was expected to be wanted to be picked. After a few seconds no one came up to her so she went up to Kathy. She said she's sorry but she's working with Clarissa. Samantha knew that you could work groups of three. But she didn't want to lose her only friend. She told the teacher so she put her with someone she regretted. Jake Jones the boy that all of the craziness happened with. She asked if there was anyone else but the teacher said no there wasn't she would have to try to work with them. After about five minutes of silence Jake said in a silent voice "here I'll do the work you can just pretend". Samantha said no no that's okay I can help.Jake said no and Samantha said ok leader she went home and was still happy. We didn't know what was coming
