"Please, please j-just let me go p-please I promise I-I I won't tell anyone" I beg as the hooded man dressed in black starts snickering.
One of his henchmen comes in with a table full of torture devices. Theres hammers, syringes, knives and things I've never even seen before.
"NO! Please please d-don't do this please!" I yell and I scream for someone to help me. I just don't understand what I could've done to deserve this."Go ahead scream, beg I love it. No one can hear you. Now I ask again, where is it?" he asks calmly almost amusingly.
"Please I don't k-know what your t-talking about" I'm so tired. I don't know how long I've been awake for but it's been a really long time. Sleep deprivation is a real bitch.
The man picks up one of the knives. Inspecting it making sure its suitable to deliver the upmost pain. I watch as he studies the knife and sharpens the edges. When he's finally satisfied he quickly penetrates it in to my right shoulder. I cry out in agonizing pain. It starts as a light sting but then it burns. It feels like my entire arm and neck is on fire. I want to scream and cry I would but I have nothing left in me. In that moment I knew The only way I'm getting any sleep is if I'm dead.
He begins yelling again
"WHERE IS THE DAMN ST-
"EVA!.... Leave, get out now, stop daydreaming in my class, the bell rang" My science teacher Ms. Thompson calls.
"Sorry" I hang my head in embarrassment as the blood rose to my cheeks. The day was coming to an end. The sound of footsteps stomping through the halls was like music to my ears. I couldn't help but have a smile on my face. Car keys jingling in students hands is like jingle bells ringing in Christmas. See everyone either took the bus or drove but I prefer to walk because well I don't live very far and I like walking it's like meditation to me.
A sleek black car pulls up next to me as I'm walking. The dark tinted window rolls down slowly. On the other side was my dad. "Come on get in"
The ride home was silent but a comfortable silent. My dad and I have a tight bond. I'm a daddy's girl even though he's not my real dad, we still have that relationship. I'm not saying I hate my mom or I don't like her it's just again our bond isn't as strong as mine and my dad. She probably thinks it's because she's not my real mom or that I will never love her in that way. She's wrong. I do. I just don't know. I guess it's just I have more things in common with my dad.
We pull up to the two story mahogany red house. It's a nice comfortable house not very big but not very small either. My parents make a lot of money, my mom being a surgeon and my dad a lawyer it's not really a surprise, but they're not one of those snobby rich parents that spoil their kid and spend money on stupid shit or have a huge house with 45 rooms and an elevator. They save their money and make me work for what I want. Last time I wanted a pair of sneakers I basically had to cut off one of arms and find a way to give it to the devil personally.
My dad and I walk into the living room. My mom sitting in one of the two seats sitting across the couch. The tension in the room blossoms like a pretty pink flower in the summer. I sit down on the couch as my dad sits across from me next to my mom. If anyone else had walked in the room they would think we had just finished having the birds and bees talk and now sitting here awkwardly as I'm now scarred for life.
"Ok Eva, we have something to tell you." My mom starts
My dad finished "we're moving"
