I've been walking in the darkness for the past hour trying to find some source of light, but all I see is nothing. No trees, no people, NOTHING! Suddenly, I heard a loud cracking noise. I stood still and kept quiet, listening out to see if it would happen again, but all I could hear was the heavy beating of my heart. I carried on walking on my never ending journey thinking that the noise was just some form of my imagination...
Then it happened again, the noise was constant, it got louder and louder the closer it got. I was now stood frozen with fear, my heartbeat getting faster and faster, my breathing getting louder and heavier, the noise was still constant and I was still running for my life... I kept running to the place my feet were taking me, with the noise still close behind.
All of a sudden, I felt a strong, shooting pain up the back of my leg, but I kept running, not wanting to be caught by the unknown source. I soon came to an entrance... there was light.
I walked towards it and then I was there, I had finally escaped the unknown. I stopped and took a breath. It wasn't until I started breathing normal again that I felt something rushing down my leg. I cautiously looked at my leg and that's when I realised that I had been shot...
I turned around and saw a bloody trail, but it wasn't just anyone's blood it was my blood...
I soon started to panic, the noise started up again and then it was black...
I wasn't attacked by the unknown...
I was dead!!!
