Mitch's PoV:
"Really?" Jerome asked with a slight tone of annoyance, gesturing up and down my body. For I was wearing a red button-up flannel shirt and jeans, and he was wearing a suit. We were waiting outside the entrance of the restaurant. I leaned against the wall, as he stood in front of me, just arriving here. "You can't go into a fancy restaurant like that."
After some arguments, we decided to go to a not-as-fancy restaurant. I arrived there first, pulling up and waiting at the entrance. A small smile on my face as I held the object behind my back, watching Jerome's car pull up. Jerome stuck out like a sore thumb with his extra gelled hair and tuxedo. But I had to admit, he looked adorable.
I watched him close his car door and jog to me, somewhat struggling with the tight tuxedo pants. A smile formed on my face as he stopped in front of me. Slightly panting. I moved my hand from behind my back. Revealing a rose, and handing it to him. I grabbed his hand, spinning him as if we were dancing. Then dipping him, our faces once again, less than centimeters apart.
A smile formed on both of our faces from pure ecstasy. I could smell his cologne, him clearly using a lot, probably just for this date. Which made me happy. I could feel his breathe hit my face again and again, he was breathing fast. "Your heartbeat's really fast, Jerome.." I whispered, feeling his heartbeat against my chest.
"I'm scared."
"Why are you scared?"
"Because I love you.. Mitch.."
