Chapter 6

I then woke up on the bed. Hm I thought I was on the floor. Jamie must of put me here.

I then looked to my left to find a note. Jamie had written it because I can tell by his hand wrtitting, that and also I don't see him anywhere.

I went to work if you're wondering where I have gone. There are pancakes and bacon down stairs. When I come back I will ned your help to unload the truck.
Ps. Don't sleep on the floor got it. Just because i'm sexy doesn't mean you have to resist.

I rolled my eye to what he said. He gots the moves. What a butt.

I grabbed my clothes and jumped into the shower. Once I was down I went downstairs to grab some food.

I sat there thinking on what to do today and what Jamie ment by unloading the truck. At the same time I was wondering how Jamie didn't burn down the cabin.

It's nice to know if you want burnt food go to Jamie.

JAMIE'S P.O.V

"Uhh Jamie?" Lilly snapped me to reality.

"Oh sorry Lilly." I again noticed that I was burning the french toast.

"Look Jamie if you're tired go home. I can't believe i'm the one saying this to you. You're the boss. Anyways why ade you even cooking?" Lilly crossed her arms.

"No i'm good. I was just thinking. Well Jose isn't here. He's sick so I'm working for him."

I took the french toast and throw it away.

"Well not to be rude but you can't cook. I think you need to hire someone else."

"You say that like I fired him." I look at Lilly.

"I didn't mean it like that but another waiter wouldn't hurt for this diner."

"Okay I will make a note of that." I hand her the kitchen utensils. Then I went straight to my office.

Sheesh I can't believe I brunt the french toast. I got to focus amd stop thinking about Jade.

I heard a knock at the door.

"Come in."

I then see Lilly walking in.

"Sir there's people wanting to talk to you."

"Lilly I told you no need to call me sir, it's just Jamie. Send them in."

Once Lilly left three people came in my room.

"Jamie right?"

"Yes and you are?" I started to look at my papers.

"I'm Emily and these two are my friend's. Jason and Kyle."

"What can I do for you?"

"Stay away from Jade." Emily angrily said.

By the time I looked up, Jason and Kyle had grabbed me and started punching me in the face and stomach.

Wow what did Jade get herself into?

Emily than pulls out a gun and raises it up to me.

"This is your only warning you get Jamie."

She then pulls the trigger. The bullet went through my leg. She then shoots again hitting me somewhere in the stomach.

The guys had dropped me and then they all left.

It took Lilly two minutes to come in finding me bleeding. She then dialed 911.

I had fainted after that so I didn't know what happened next.
