/Chapter 2\

I came home from practice to find sheryl kicking some man in the leg and running off .As I followed her I found her sat under a tree
"What's up sheryl?" I asked sitting next to her.
"their taking daddy's job away as head coach!" She said with a huff at the end "they can't do that !"

We were at the restaurant sheryl sat up front I am sat by Alan and his dad when my dad started talking
"It's been a rare privilege to have live here as long as I have coaching you boys. I'll be taking the year off ...after which I will be moving to Loudon  and taking the head coaching job at Loudon high."

   Alan looked at me with a sad look ." I say boycott T.C Williams!" Alan's dad shouted causing me and Alan to look at him .

Gerry stood up " coach he stole your job. I'm not playing for him. I started a petition and I'm sitting his season out!.

Dad walked closer to him and said " the only place you are going to sit is back in that chair ,Gerry. I appreciate it, though" .

Soon one boy at a time stood up saying

"Coach. I'm out too."
"I'm not playing for no thief!"
You could see dad getting more and more upset ," don't do this don't make it any harder than it already is ".

I was looking at the floor,table,ceiling anywhere but any of the boys when I looked back around Alan was looking at me he then stood up looked at my dad and said "Coach,if you got ,I go" and looked back down at me and smiled .

Everyone started should different thing at once like "I only play for you coach yoast "
"Don't go coach ,you can't leave us !."
Then Al the boys started chanting "Coach Yoast! ,Coach Yoast! ,Coach Yoast!"
