Dedicated to my best friend, Zarley. You've stuck by my side for nearly 5 years now and I really don't know how you put up with me, haha. Love you ZBear! Xox

I hope you all enjoy this book, it's my first time actually making one so I'm definitely excited for you all to read it! This chapter is shorter than what I expected, it's just kind of a chapter for you all to understand what the girls look like and their relationship.

Enjoy!

"Willow!" Riley squealed in my ear and wrapped her arms around me in a tight hug. I smiled and hugged my best friend back. It doesn't matter how long you haven't seen Riley for, or how many times, you couldn't get enough of her infectious personality. "It's finally summer break!" She sighed and shook her short, mouse brown hair. "No more homework, no more getting up at seven in the morning and..." She paused clicking her fingers. "Help me out here! What's another thing we don't have to do now its holidays?' I grinned at her.

"Don't tell me you forgot about swimming, chilling and go to our favourite sundae store so much we lose all of our hard earned summer allowance?" She clapped her hands dramatically.

"To be honest, the first crime, will be the last crime if you get what I mean" she grinned and I raised an eyebrow, a trick I'd taught myself back in 4th grade. She sighed "Really Will?" I nodded. "The first crime, will be the last crime. Your last 'crime' was that we would be broke because of the Super Sundae Store. That's gonna be our first crime."

"Ohhh" I nodded now "Definitely first crime." She fake-punched my bare shoulder. "Anyway, let's go set up your sleeping quarters" I said in a posh voice.

"Thank you" She grabbed and dumped all her bags on me and raced down the hallway to my bedroom in her pale purple crop top and dark-blue, denim, high-waisted shorts.

"This isn't exactly what I had in mind ma'am." Giggling, I struggled and finally pulled myself free of the bags, dumping them on the glossy, wooden planks floor, I ran after her. She quickly took off her black vans at the doorway and rushed to shut the door and get inside. When I opened the door and walked in, I laughed at the sight of her posing like a model on my bed with a large, aqua blue blanket from the end of my bed. I burst out laughing and she grinned.

"Where's your mum? And by the way, that outfit is so hot." She removed the blanket from her shoulders.

"Thanks, she's chilling in the pool, where else? It's flippin' 42 degrees woman!" I was wearing my favourite, cobalt blue halter-neck cropped top with some plain black high-waisted shorts. With a loud cry that made Riles jump, I fell on my bed dramatically with my hand on my forehead. She smiled and shook her head deviously and jumped off the bed narrowly missing my head with her feet, I squealed. "What do you want to do?" I asked her. She glanced at me and lifted her laptop up.

"Okay, five choices" She told me "Minecraft, star stable, youtube, swim or movies with caramelised popcorn." I licked my lips at the sound of popcorn.

"Ooooo, too hard, too hard" I shook my head. "How about... Minecraft with popcorn, then train our horses on star stable, watch Tyler Oakley's youtube, swim and late night movies?" She cheered and I took a bow. "Thank you! Thank you! I cried.

"However, I'll get the popcorn ready since my cooking is like Manu and yours is like a pig cooking its own bacon." I whacked her with a bright pink pillow and she squealed.

"Very true but do I really deserve that much credit?" I stuck out my bottom lip and flipped my red hair over my shoulder. "I thought it would be more like dad's cooking skills on how to 'bake' pancakes." She doubled over laughing and I grinned shooing her out the room. "Go Manu, work your magic." I stuck my tongue out at her and got to work. In the corner of the room I had two large, bright green beanbags. I grabbed them and threw both on the bed. I grabbed the now messed-up aqua blanket on my bed and then threw that over the two beanbags. Finally, I grabbed my laptop off my smooth, pale wood desk and placed it on the one side with my mouse on the hard mattress and grabbed Riley's laptop from her white with brightly, rainbow coloured spots case and did the same.

"Ta da!" Riley cried coming in with a large, lime green bowl filled to the top with popcorn, I grinned.

"I need that right now!" I quickly scooped up a handful of popcorn and started eating them one at a time. "Like the setup?" I asked, she threw herself onto the mountain of pillows and blankets with the popcorn bowl resting in her hands. Of course, she just had to spill some on the bed. "How dare you!" I gasped, she laughed at me.

"This is the best way to start summer break!" She told me as her eyes seemed to shimmer grey in the sunlight. I nodded.

"Definitely!" I smiled at her feeling my own blue eyes lighting up. Something tells me this is going to be the best summer ever.
