Hello my dear readers! I'm so sorry for the long break but now I'm back!!☺️ instead of getting right back into the story, let's talk about the characters a bit and also reintroduce them☺️❤️
Main Characters
Lucian (Main Character / Prince Consort)
A young omega of noble birth, thrust into the gilded but suffocating world of the royal palace after marrying Crown Prince Aleron. Intelligent, sensitive, and cautious, haunted by a toxic past with Kastiel, his former lover.
His red eyes and ethereal beauty make him stand out, but it's his inner fragility, and his capacity to love deeply that make him magnetic.
Aleron (Male Lead / Crown Prince)
The steady, strong alpha destined to inherit the throne. Known for his composure, strategic mind, and quiet authority. Loves Lucian deeply and with patience, refusing to force him into anything. His desire is constant, but he tempers it with gentleness and restraint. His ocean-blue eyes and commanding aura make him every inch a royal, but with Lucian, he allows vulnerability and tenderness.
Kastiel (Villain / Nobleman)
Once Lucian's lover, manipulative and toxic. A high-ranking noble, son of one of the empire's most powerful families, now seeking to reinsert himself into Lucian's life.
Clever, charismatic, and dangerous, always wearing the mask of loyalty while plotting beneath.
His true obsession is control over Lucian, unable to accept that he no longer has a hold on him.
SIDE CHARACTERS
The King (Aleron's father)
Stern, pragmatic, and deeply bound to tradition. Sees Lucian as "lacking" and pressures Aleron for an heir. His decisions are often guided by what will keep the nobles satisfied.
The Empress (Aleron's mother)
Warm but cautious. She shows subtle support for Lucian, though she doesn't always voice it openly. A quiet observer of her son's marriage, waiting to see if Lucian will rise to the role of consort.
Ben (Lucian's attendant)
Gentle, loyal, and protective. Always looking out for Lucian's emotional state. Acts as a confidant but never pushes Lucian too far. A quiet anchor in Lucian's life, though sometimes overshadowed by the grander forces at play.
Iris (Lucian's sister)
Still only briefly mentioned, but represents Lucian's ties outside the palace. Could serve as a grounding force for Lucian later, or be used by Kastiel to manipulate him.
Lord Cedric Vale (Aleron's Chief Advisor)
Age: mid-40s, sharp-eyed, with a calm and calculating demeanor. Born into an old noble family that values loyalty to the crown above all.
Known for his wit, political cunning, and ability to read a room faster than anyone else.
Deeply loyal to Aleron, though he is pragmatic to a fault. He may sometimes push decisions that put "the good of the empire" above Lucian's comfort.
