Finally the plane landed, and Morticia had successfully lost 2 days worth of meals. One third laid on Gomez while the other two parts were in the airsickness bag and on herself. Gomez looked to his sleeping Carda as he grabbed their carry on's to leave. He didn't want to have to wake his poor wife but they had to head out to Paris so he started to lightly tap her.
Morticia started to stir not feeling any movement she fluttered her eyes open to Gomez smiling.
"Darling is it over?" She asked weakly to her husband.
Gomez stroked his Tish and laid a kiss on her cheek before responding. This made them both smile at each other at peace for a single moment from the whole trip.
Gomez nodded as his answer to the lovely woman before him as he took her hand and helped her up. Now walking out of the plane and down the steps Morticia had another question.
"Did I do that!" She asked pointing at her darling's shirt.
Gomez gave her a laugh and nodded again.
"Oh!" Responded his wife before putting her right hand to her mouth. Gomez gave another tiny laugh then he turned his wife's head so they could face each other.
"It's alright Tish!" He said in a sort of whisper. This made Morticia smile, "Look where we are!" Her husband continued "Alright let's find our limo driver which will be hard for there's only one Lurch..." Gomez finished trailing off.
The pair thought for a moment but then Morticia spotted the Addams name!
"Gomez!" She said in a goulash tone trying to get his attention. Not wanting to take anymore chances Gomez completely engaged in the conversation this time.
"Carda are you still sick my love!" He said taking her hand. But he got a look saying no.
"Gomez I found the limo!" She shrieked. Gomez looked in the direction his Tish was facing to find a man all in black with sunglasses and an earpiece holding a sign with his last name.
"Wow Thing really does have a taste in picking limo drivers!" Was his response before they told the new bellhop to follow them as they made it to the man. Then they were lead by him to a black car which would drive them to the hotel.
"Isn't this fun Carda Mia!" Gomez asked his wife in the back of the limo.
"Yes darling oh yes! I've had the worst trip of my life so far!" Morticia responded in a distant and happy ( for her) tone. Then as they arrived at the hotel the pair said their goodbyes to the airport bellhop and their driver, as another bellhop took their bags and showed the strange couple their room.
As the door opened Gomez was in an okay mood about the room. He and his wife were thinking the same thing about what it needed. "More black!" They said in unison. Morticia unpacked everything while Gomez changed his clothes after taking a shower.
Finally getting everything out and in their proper places Morticia sat on the bed in relief as Gomez came out of the bathroom. Immediately he took her hand pulled her up and twirled his luscious wife.
"I'm all cleaned up Tish!" He said relieved and happy. "You can get yourself cleaned up now too." His wife smiled at the thought of being clean... It had been hours. "Though you really don't need to... Your beautiful either way!" Morticia blushed at her husbands remark and walked into the bathroom. "I'll miss you!" Said Gomez before clicking on the television.
"Let's see.." He said skimming through the channels. "The Chew.... NFL something....... Platypus documentary....... Ah ha! He said stopping on The Prince's Bride a sword fight!" As he watched Morticia finished putting on her darker dress and she had come out of the bathroom.
"Move over darling!" She snapped as Gomez quickly obeyed not taking his eyes off the man with the sword.
"He is not very good at fighting" Gomez exclaimed to his wife. "I could beat those men blindfolded!"
Morticia nodded in agreement. "And the lady!" She responded. "Barely does anything regarding a sword!"
"You could beat her with a broken leg and a missing eyeball!" Said Gomez with a laugh. His wife yawned in response getting tired from their journey.
Gomez looked up to the clock not even realizing it was already 4:30pm as his wife drifted off on him without dinner. He decided since he was stuck where he was to turn the television off and doze as well. Then he shut his eyes not being able to wait for sightseeing the next day.
